  • Any Chance Of Some Advice ?

Hello , I've NEVER posted on forums before but have read lots of posts on this site.

I was wondering if anyone could offer any advice as to my problem.

About 18 months ago I began to get " Strange " sensations in my penis , a little like electric shocks and it also seemed to shrink overnight , I also began to suffer ED which I had NEVER experienced before

Whilst in the shower the next day I did some jelqs while quite flaccid , thinking that increasing blood flow couldn't do any harm , however after about 5 of these I felt a strange sensation in my penis and notice what I can only describe as tiny red lines coming from deep inside the penis to the glans , I then got a numb glans and even worse ed and that is where I am today.

I saw my GP who diagnosed anxiety although , anyone with this problem would be anxious but , after much pushing of my Doc he referred me to a urologist , the urologist did all relevant blood tests , PSA , Blood Sugar , Testosterone etc etc and said they were all fine although noted my prostate was a little swollen but nothing major , he offered no diagnoses whatsoever as to the numb glans , ED or the lack of sensation in the perineum area. Instead just commented on how healthy I was !!!

All I can describe it as is when I try to get erect I am on half power and never pointing to the stars or engorged but when trying to get erect I also get pains around the lower abdomen area and it takes forever for the blood to start going into the penis and a lot of stimulation for anything to happen whereas before just mental stimulation worked , now , no matter what I do it's always the same , half power although the glans isn't as numb as 18 months ago it still isn't super sensitive.

I'm sorry for the long post and , couldn't possibly hope for anyone to tell me that they know what this is but , could anyone offer any advice as to my next step should be , the urologist has said it's not his problem and it's 100% not anxiety so I have hit a brick wall and when I decide to go to the doctor again would like to be armed with some constructive questions instead of just being told to take Viagra ( Which the urologist has said I'm too young at 47 to be relying on even though it has the exact sam effect as not using it !! )

Any light on this and advice would be incredibly welcome , it's taken me a while to build up the courage to ask !!!

Hello jjb, Welcome to the forums! I am fairly new myself. This is a great community and I am sure you will find tromendous value.

    As for your question;
When this occurred 18 months ago, were you doing PE and got injured?

I am no expert (yet), but Nofap for awhile may be the answer.

      @jjb

Anxiety and the physical symptoms you are describing have roots in bodies nutritional imbalances. I can say that from my experience, and I was able to resolve it.

      Try researching these options -

      1. take a lot of organic flaxseed oil, daily 15 to 30 grams liquid. Helps with inflammation, the burning in penis, urethra, prostate, bladder, lower abdominal area. helps in erection quality. Make sure the oil is good quality prevents cancer.

      2. take a lot of borage oil, daily 5 grams liquid. Helps with inflammation, the burning in penis, urethra, prostate, bladder, lower abdominal area. helps in erection quality. Make sure the oil is good quality prevents cancer.

      3. check for Vit d deficiency. helps with prostate inflammation.

      4. check for calcium deficiency. blood work does not reflect the deficiency. only trying taking calcium works. 1 gram elemental per day. helps with inflammation and calms the nerves. calcium deficiency will cause hyperactivity in automount and sympathetic nerves. can be labeled as anxiety.

      5. balance overall nutrition, Vit C, vit A, Vit K2, veg protein etc.

      6. check cholesterol. cholesterol metabolism is affected by the lack of Vit c, calcium.

Sorry to hear about your struggle. There are many here with similar problems. You're in the right place.

If you haven't already check out the start here tab at the top of the page. You will find a lot of useful information there. Also might want to check out the ED forum.

So you had already been doing PE when this happened? Could you have been jelqing with too much force or for too long?

This sort of injury can result in pelvic floor dysfunction that reduces erection quality or pinches nerves giving you that electric shock feeling which you mentioned. I highly doubt that it's anything serious like a tear or venous leak as the penis is quite resilient (more resilient than some people seem to think on this forum...) and you're still very young, so don't jump to any scary conclusions. Misdiagnosing is a bad mistake other people and I have made after injuries in the past. Plus a bad mental state will only worsen the condition.

See THE HANS PROTOCOL for ways you may be able to treat this, if it really is the problem. Wouldn't hurt to try! Take a couple weeks off masturbation and sex while you try to recover as well, and try not to lay on it as you sleep. Doing all this I think you will see some improvements like I did.

Thanks everyone for all your help.
I must admit that after the injury it feels as though my pelvic floor has seriously tensed up , to the point that a kegel is almost impossible and there feels as if theres no movement in the perineum or pelvic floor , when squeezing the last bit of urine out if that makes sense ?

I will check out the links you have suggested and report back.

once again thank you for getting involved , it helps just to know that others have been in similar situations !!

Hey, Can you elaborate on this one? I might have this issue, need to understand it first.

Hi 2inchpinch , yes I was struggling a couple of days before I did the jelqs but , when I did them it was in a completely flaccid state. It felt as though something inside popped to bring about the red lines on the glans , even today 18 months later it looks as though there is broken veins under the glans and small raised lumps when its expanded !!

I have the lumps, you think they stop bloodflow to glans? I felt popping sensation too, when i used a pump. I feel like erection is only half powered like you said. I also have tight pelvic floor with premature ejaculation, so it is difficult to know what is the biggest problem out of the two. What can we do if the lumps hinder bloodflow if docs wont listen, celibacy never really was a dream of mine...

I don't think that doc's ignore the problem on purpose , it's just that for some unknown reason they don't have a skill set to deal with these things. Mention the perineum and it's like your talking about brain surgery , as soon as I described my symptoms to my urologist he seemed to be looking to pass the problem off to someone else asap........

PointyStick , thank you , you seem very sensible and just to have someone say it doesn't sound serious is a relief.
The urologist and general doctor did say to me that they've seem horrific car accident victims , industrial accidents etc etc involving the penis and the patients have fully recovered without surgery which gave me some sense of relief

That's the problem with all the uros across the world,if I had got the penile fracture, they would have done some degloving or small incision and fixed it asap, after 6 weeks I would have been totally functional. But this irritating hf and those tight muscles in perinium cannot be fixed by uro.
Earlier I used to squeeze those muscles in perinium to get last drop of urine out and I did this involuntarily,I had no control, suddenly after hf I no longer kegel at the end,now nothing squeezes involuntarily,I told this to my uro and he said that's good, and mentioned that I do a lot of research on internet.

                            Yes , I think that's a good point.
The 2 urologists I have seen had the attitude that I was alive , walking talking , not in incredible pain and able to somewhat function so everything was ok , quality of life and massive changes to the way my body felt didn't really matter , they also mentioned the age thing which really frustrated me.......
