Heyguys so I've had a bathmate a little over a month now and I wasn't getting any gains at all, not even temporary. I finally started increasing pump time up to 30 mins per day and now I do get a 1cm girth temporary gain that lasts for perhaps 30 minutes.
Recently, I started feeling comfortable with entering erect and pumping to full pressure. However, at the end of the session, my dick looked like this.
I'm particularly concerned that all the swelling is at the end, the base of the penis remains at the normal pre-pumped girth, which confirms my fears when using this device, it has always FELT like I was getting lots more pressure in the head than the base, but I thought that the idea is you get equal pressure everywhere?
It's not so obvious in these flaccid shots but it's a really big difference, I'm a full INCH increase in girth at the top when erect right now compared to the lower 75% of the shaft.
Please advise, thanks.
I'm using the Bathmate x30 btw.

There's no image but if you're getting some swelling it should go away shortly. Some men get this and it's called a donut.

Do not fear I got very scared the first time I got really bad lymph fluid build up but it’s just a consequence of the decreased pressure inside the pump compared to normal atmospheric pressure at sea level. Lymph fluid flows out because the pressure in the lymp capillaries is decreased with no air pressing against the penis from the outside. To combat this simply apply reverse pressure in the form of a compression bandage or silicone penis sleeve.

alright, so you guys were right it went down by the next morning it was normal again. I took a day off, then pumped again today and again got another doughtnut, but not as big this time.
Is it necessary to take time off for this, or as long as it has reduced to normal size can I keep pumping?

Maybe try some jelqing? It might spread the fluid around and work the tissue in a more conventional manner, I'm not a big fan of pumping, its quite easy to get carried away and injure yourself! Everything in moderation i guess...

As a beginner, you should be doing no more than 3 days on, 1 day off. When building muscles, you work those muscles and pump them full of blood; as they swell, small micro-tears form. While you're sleeping/resting, those micro-tears are being filled in with new muscle tissue. That's why muscles get bigger, is they've had time to heal and fill in those micro-tears. If you've been using the bathmate quite a bit and your dick is sore, it's telling you it needs rest and time to heal.
Why you want no air bubbles in the bathmate and how to get rid of them: The advantage of a water pump vs air is that water distributes the pressure evenly, whereas air does not and will allow "ballooning"/uneven pressures throughout the tube. In order to get a consistent fill of water without bubbles, you have to fill it without the comfort sleeve in, then insert the sleeve and top off.

You should be following a pumping routine. Here's a good one if you don't have a plan https://www.pegym.com/forums/penis-d...com-q-139.html

Can you explain what you mean by air bubbles? When I pump the pump, water goes out and that leaves air in the chamber where the water had been. Normally, this does expose the head of my penis to air. Isn't this unavoidable?
Also, I guess because my erections point straight up, when I pump the top ridge of my head smashes very forcefully against the wall of the pump. When I remove myself from the pump this area is a deep dark purple in a line that corresponds to where it was pressed against the chamber. I guess that's ok, because it turns a normal color quickly each time, however, the pressure in that one specific spot is quite painful, a lot more uncomfortable than the vacuum in general, and it stops me from pumping as hard as I could handle otherwise generally.
Any suggestions?
