  • GREAT Morning Woods, BUT Neuropathy Signs

I can also get general erections by manual stimulation (or visual stimulation, certainly of the porn variety), though not as good of erections as in the morning (I believe that's normal, for most), but erections have never have been as great as they were before I began PE, which, I guess I was doing things wrong at some point or another. (See to all my many threads going over stuff.)

    Still sorting things out...

Anyone else in my shoes? What could this combo even mean?

General sign I should probably be hands-off myself for a good while? For some reason, going without masturbation seems to be harder than ever for me. I used to be a pro, even staying away from edging. I guess priorities and the mind (and libido) changes...with or without you.

    How often do you ejaculate?

Are you doing any aerobic exercise?

Experiment with decreasing/reducing some, and then wait to see if there is a change for the good.

These are good questions. I personally found ejaculating more than 2 or 3 times a week can have a negative effect on EQ over time. See this post for more of my thoughts on that.

Many onsite recommend regular exercise, and of course that is good advice for many reasons.

I cum 2-3 times a week. No porn. Hand only lately, but I do have toys...and contrary to my urologist's advice, it seems a toy (quality Fleshlight) would be smarter on my member than my hand.

I cycle weekly, usually for a short time though (20-40 minutes on weekly average). Otherwise I work on the upper body, weights. Never been more fit in that sense. Not enough pelvic floor exercises lately.

          Thanks for your comment.

I am going to just bank on waiting things out more...hope that's the ticket. Definitely I will also mind the tightness of my grip that I might have on myself, when I just have to get off, though I truly don't think I ever have had a death grip. Maybe I'll just go to the Fleshlight when I need to get off, contrary to what my urologist thinks on that matter. He heard me note that *using* the toy caused me skin irritation issues once before and therefore he deems more possible problems there...I believe it was the lube that time all along, not the material of the Fleshlight. Bullshit lubes really do suck, so that means most of them on the market. How awful is it companies put anything questionable in something that goes on your skin... I guess that's the FDA for ya.

It's a common known scientific fact that your testosterone is at its peak after you wake up..
Among other things that would add to the benefit of stronger erections...

Right. The thing is my morning erections have never been consistently this freaking hard in my life (maybe before I can remember back to), and yet what I believe is a loss of sensation (for whatever the reason) is just as notable. I wish the sensitivity issue I'm noting was gradual but I can't say it was. So yeah, it's all a weird combo. I wonder if my penis is trying to health something inside, from that the morning erections are pushing through the roof.

I'm hoping passing time has my back on this one.

I'd be curious, if you can indeed trace it back to your PE history. I was in your shoes insofar, as that I did observe lowering of my erection quality over the course of my life. Part of it might be me aging, but for me a significant experience was how porn impacted me. E.g. once I followed a specific advice given to porn users wanting to quit (and somewhat reverse neurologic changes due to that), my erection quality went stellar. I can absolutely not make a case, that this is why you are experiencing your problem - but in case you are truly worried, you might want to give it a shot (if only to rule it out).

On a positive note: I'm using a Bathmate on and off for 12 months now and it does a great job of bringing back an erection quality I only know from a far younger age.

Editing my post: So your concern seems to be rather about how your penis feels? Maybe then it might be a good idea to refrain from all that overstimulation most of us experience - and see, how that feels. E.g. how about going for really slow masturbation only, in a very conscious way, with little grip/force? I could imagine, that this could help. Or the above-mentioned link with the "Reboot" approach (which is far bigger undertaking, of course).

What gives you worries that you have nerve damage aka neuropathy?

Thanks for the response. I really do maintain that I was negligent/ignorant in my PI indicators along the way from my start in PE, till some things got so far (roughly a year ago exactly)...then leading to a kind of injury. And even then, I was just more or less rolling with it, as in continuing to PE, and not giving more than enough break that was needed.

On that note, I really do believe time off PE (at least that much) this year has been helping, where I might not have thought it was possible. All while resuming 2-3 ejaculations weekly, and kinda regular "light" edging (not actually long sessions). I never had a death grip, but in learning about it, I have made myself sure that I do not have one.

I also am quite stacked high on my "D" (dick) supplements right now...I'm sure they're helping. Nearly every base covered. Just need a handful more (to name one: vitamin E).

I have a really good handle on not viewing porn...though out of absolute horniness in recent isolated times, and no woman around, I did take a gander a handful of times, just to truly feel freaking grounded on the finer things of life...!

I actually just read a post about how to stop viewing porn, out of curiosity:

                    https://www.pegym.com/forums/erectil...ml#post1633617

And I gotta say - that all is great, great strategy. I think if I do feel the need to look at any skin on the internet, I'll go down to pictures right away, and just of woman engaging in her own self-pleasure, or just plain nudity.

What made me worried I might have nerve damage is a marked less pleasurable feeling from a recent sequence of time in this year. I guess I didn't expand on my backstory in this particular thread, but basically I had a skin health crisis, including my nether regions. When it was all under control (but still healing), I was resuming normalcy by jerking off or using a toy, and it was grade A feeling at first, then I had a lymph injury (https://www.pegym.com/forums/penile-...ml#post1634101), and then things changed.

As of now, I think things are noticeably better in the sensation department (albeit maybe still just slight) from the time I made this thread...but I feel there's more healing/progress to go.

What exactly does "peripheral" nerve damage mean? What are your signs? And do you have it diagnosed or self-diagnosed?

I thought it meant the same thing as neuropathy aka nerve damage. I diagnosed myself. Other people were telling me "you need a neurologist with that" but it could be bogus as there are tons of tissue nerves and veins down there. It coulda been anything.

A shattering of a nerve would be the only sign

Do not self diagnose nerve damage this should be diagnosed medically.
