  • Another Swing at Beating Hard Flaccid

Hey guys, been a long time since I last posted here on the forums. I told myself I wouldn't come back until I beat HF. I've tried a bunch of things thus far like hernia surgery, DCT, bikram yoga, and therawand just to name a few. I haven't seem to crack the code yet, but I'm on a new lead. I actually decided at take a look at my actual pelvic floor and I noticed a hemorrhoid... I started to research this and it was surprising how much this topic was already studied:

    https://www.news-medical.net/amp/news/20120716/Hemorrhoids-may-cause-erectile-dysfunction.aspx

    https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6676841/

So i went ahead and booked an appointment with a specialist and the discussion I had with them was interesting. I found only one hemorrhoid, but the doctor found one external and 3 medium sized internal ones. She continued to explain that internal hemorrhoids are frequently the cause of spasms in the pelvic floor and they either firmly contract or shorten the PF and in my case, mine was shortened.

We decided to add fiber to my diet, I was given this numbing gel to relax the spasms, and I am scheduled to have a "rubber band litigation" operation done to get rid of the hemorrhoids in about 2 weeks. I have to do one hemorrhoid per operation so I have to have this done 3 times for the internal ones and we will wait and see if the external one goes away after the internal ones are resolved.

From the discussion it definitely sounds like this could cause HF in the sense from the pelvic floor being irritated, hopefully that will be the resolution to my case. I thought I'd share this one with you guys since this is one of the more promising leads I've come across. Hopefully this helps someone else.

Thanks, I read through it and it looks very informative. I'll be practicing some of the advice in there.

Do you have issues with loss of penile sensitivity?

Yes, I lost sensitivity, erectile quality/angle, premature ejac, cold and hard flaccid. Those are the big ones off the top of my head.

Sounds just like me brotha, basically lost I'd say 85%+ of my sensitivity from the base/perineum to just below the tip/head of my penis. Been trying to fix this for about 7 years. Hope is dwindling but I might go see a new Physio that has a focus in the pelvic floor and trigger points. Hang in there with me brotha and please share findings and successes as will I.

Sure thing, there have been periods where I got sensitivity and better EQ, but they haven't been solidified. I'm 90% sure it has to do with the IC muscle, the struggle is how to effectively relax, stretch, and mobilize it. I think the hemorrhoids makes it hard for me to fully relax the PF.

What have you tried so far? Just the physio?

Did you get Hf from jelqing, stretching and edging?

I've seen multiple urologists, a physio, bits of therawand here and there, and a massage therapist. I think my next step is to go back and find a new physiotherapist that does internal work along with trigger-point therapy and also focuses in overall physical therapy. Physiotherapy seemed to work best but gets pricey.

I think you might be right about the IC muscle. I believe the muscle/tendon that connects from there to inner thigh is a huge factor. I feel like I have complete musculoskeletal imbalance from my lower back to down to my feet. Maybe this is triggered by my tight pelvic floor?

I'm pretty sure my HF/lost sensitivity in my penis is from excessive kegeling years ago causing tight pelvic floor.
