Yes. You had the same problem (cause) as me.
Ah!...No, Burnout. That is not Long Flaccid
There is a huge difference between the Real Long Flaccid (Hypotonia, Flaccid Paralysis, muscle weakness, total loss of muscle tone, inability to perform Kegels, inability to feel muscle contraction) and your "Long Flaccid" (muscle relaxation, healing process).
I also had/have your "Long Flaccid". That is just muscle relaxation. It's the healing process of Hard Flaccid.
Our "Long Flaccid" is very different from the disease that ho1985, WorkToResolve, rxaxa and closed278 had/have.

Hello sir I read ur recent post about long hard flaccid sir currently I get both long hard flaccid and hard flaccid..i also get pain around glans..i definitely have a nerve issue as when I sit I'll start getting tingling vibration electric shocks in my penis and testicle area.
Sir this is how my story started sir I had an oral and those few days in a row I masturbated 3-4 days in a row... Was on holiday so was drinking alcohol as well... So might have masturbated bit hard..i have in past used kegelling sometimes to delay ejaculation and I think I did it too this time when I masteubated.. So initially wen the problem started I started getting tingling feeling on glans... I was confused wat happened so to check I tried masturbation again after two days gap this time I felt pain and I was also confused was it from the oral I told u above or the masturbation... So I started putting g lot of things on my penis head... I even put campor usedin indian medicine on penis as my friend suggested.. Later I went to doc and took antibiotics wich I ate little bit then stopped..as it made me sick as they were very strong(Amoxocillin with clauvalic acid) ..after my holiday I came back to Australia to my home.. After coming back to Australia I finished my course of antibiotics for 15 days. I have sensitive stomach so it did made my symptoms worse...Later I also took antifungal medication wich I took for 15 days as I had fungus on my chest ( fungus issues on skin was from few years it's tinea fungus just normal fungus) I thought it might be some fungal problem on glans... But physicaly or visibally nothing was to be seen on the glans.. I still had that tingling problem... Later again I started putting so many steroid creams I even put tree tee oil on glans... Suddenly one days I started feeling sharp pain on the glans and I had redness around the crown of glans.. Then I understand that I had put so many things on glans and made it super irritated and I had the nerve pain.. So sir from last 5 months I have pain on my glans... I get little bit hourglass shape but thick in starting then thin.. Also I've felt my penis is bit bend down wards... So sir currently my problem are two I suppose one is the nerve pain... Second is the different shapes.. I feel soreness around the penis.. And third is vibration and tingling wen I sit.. I'll have lot of vibration s tingling in penis wen I sit sir and then pain too.... I'm sure it's d irritated nerves... Pudental nerve... Sir I have done blood and urine test 4 times all came back negative . I also had an ultrasound done which also came back clear.
I was also prescribed flomax after taking flomax my hour glass shape became more prominent.. I used to start getting them more snd more then I stopped it... I'll get hour glass shape sometimes now when I hold my urine...
I have also taken nerve pain meds like nortriipline and lyrica... But they make me very foggy.
Sir my hard flaccid goes away when I urinate but comes back after finishing..
Recently I started training my ic muscles I feel my urine angle is little better but hard flaccid is more is still there...
I've noticed my penis stays bit elongated all day and soreness around it all d time.. Heat makes things worse for me as I might have irritated nerves in the glans .
I'm now confused which way to go... Plz help

Hi Ginsin! Welcome to PEGym
Please, don't call me sir... xD Just Romero
Your story seems to be a typical case of Hard Flaccid (muscle injury in the pelvic floor - IC and BC muscles). However, you also have Chronic Pelvic Pain Syndrome (CPPS), most likely because your muscle injury is compressing the pudendal nerve. I don't think you have any nerve damage. What you have is a pinched nerve, due to muscle contracture, caused by a muscle strain. It's that compression that is causing your pain, tingling and vibration. The various shapes of the penis are caused by the muscle problem (Hard Flaccid).
First. Please stop all the medication you are taking. If the tests are okay, and you have no skin lesions, there is no reason why you should be taking antibiotics or antifungals. In addition, stop amitriptyline, lyrica and any cream you are putting on the glans, especially creams with steroids. If you have no skin lesion on the glans, none of them is helping you at all.
Second. You will stop touching your penis for a month. No sex, no masturbation, no porn, no orgasms, no attempts to get erections, no attempts to see if it's okay. Nothing. Absolutely nothing. You will forget that you have a penis for a month. You only touch it to pee and wash gently during the shower.
Third. During this break you will read two things:
1 - A Doctor with Hard Flaccid - Updates and Advice - My personal recovery thread. I had no pain. But your case is most likely the same as mine. You just have a more compressed nerve and I didn't. I want you to follow exactly my treatments list, which is detailed in the first post.
2 - The HANS Protocol - After reading the first post on my thread, and before reading the rest of my thread, you will read this protocol. After that, you can read both threads in full.
This is very common. While reading my thread you will understand why.
You cannot train the IC muscle. What you have to do is just the opposite: relax the IC muscle. You will learn this in the two threads above.
Do not apply heat directly to the penis. When I refer the hot rice sock (on my thread), I don't put it directly on my penis or on my glans! I put it on the surrounding muscles. Because that's where the problem is. Heat is important to relax these muscles. But, regarding HEAT, I prefer to just wrap my legs in a blanket.
P.S .: I recommend Tamsulosin (Flomax), in my thread. I think it helps to resolve the Hard Flaccid. BUT, if you think it made you slightly worse, then don't take it. Just take the muscle relaxant.
I wish you a quick recovery, Ginsin. Nice to meet youLast edited by Romero MD; 10-18-2020 at 08:55 PM.

Hi Boomer. So, let's explore your problem.
Your words in 2017:
- You didn't have nerve dysfunction.
- You didn't have Long Flaccid.
- You didn't have Hard Flaccid (no problem in the Ischiocavernosus muscle)
You had a contracture in the Bulbocavernosus muscle (and in the Puborectalis muscle, which is just above the BC). You had “Semi Hard Flaccid”, only in the Bulbocavernosus muscle. Your penis was not hard, because your IC was fine.
Your words in 2018:
The orgasmic contractions, associated with friction on the ball, distended your Ischiocavernosus muscle.
At that time, you had a typical case of Hard Flaccid (in the IC and BC muscle).
Your words in 2020:
Boomer, you don't have the real Long Flaccid. You have Hard Flaccid... and a masturbation addiction.
You have to stop. You are killing your penis.
First. You will take twice the dose the Ginsin took. Your goal is two months. Yes, two months, because your addiction is more serious. No sex, no masturbation, no porn, no orgasms, no attempts to get erections, no attempts to see if it is okay, nothing. Absolutely nothing. You will forget that you have a penis for two months. You will only touch it to pee and wash gently during the shower.
Second, read my thread about Hard Flaccid and The Hans Protocol again. Apply all knowledge. You tried the protocol for 2 weeks... Do you know how unrealistic it is to want improvements in two weeks? Especially for someone who masturbates as much as you do? I didn't start to see improvements before the first month. And I didn't ejaculate for almost 3 months. I want you to apply the protocol during 3 months, while forgetting that you have a penis.
Stop touching your penis.
I wish you a quick recovery, Boomer.Last edited by Romero MD; 10-18-2020 at 09:17 PM.

Hi Romero. Nice to have found a doctor who is dedicated to exploring these types of problems. I thank you in advance for your information, which I read carefully. I am also using a translator, as I do not speak English fluently, so please excuse the possible writing-grammar.
I have a long flaccid problem, but it is something different from the ones reported here, given the causes. I also apologize that this post may be a bit long.
I started jelqing two years ago. I did it for about three weeks, a little more aggressively than recommended. During the first two weeks everything was fine (except for a small bruise that appeared one day on my penis and thanks to which I began to do it more carefully) until I did what I should not ...
At the time I was addicted to alcohol and drugs, so I didn't have the good sense to even wonder if what I was doing could damage my erection ability, which was always very good before this episode.
I started doing jelqing from the 'inside' part of my penis, that is, the one that is immediately behind my testicles and in front of my anus, that is, directly to the pelvic floor. It seemed great to me, because in just a couple of days I could see my penis get noticeably bigger and thicker. Now I think that I displaced part of a system that should not have been manipulated in that way. With his penis erect he jelqing sitting down and squeezing his legs, I suppose that on the pelvic floor there were also consequences then. I had no problems with erections at the time, until one day of jelqing I had a very strong and large erection, an erection that would not go down. I tried to sleep, he was still erect. Until I finished masturbating.
It is important to note that this was the first moment I had one of the symptoms you mention. After I ejaculated that day, the erection stayed for many minutes, I would say more than 15, until I fell asleep.
The next day I noticed that I couldn't get an erection. Since then, problems to achieve them.
As I already mentioned, that was a couple of years ago.
I started researching and taking supplements. Garlic, Watermelon, Spinach. Every time he tried one of these plants, he got a strong and long-lasting erection. But it only happened the first two days that I tried them. The dysfunction was not cured. The strange thing is that there were periods of time (lasting 4 or 5 days) when the dysfunction disappeared. After those 4 or 5 days, total dysfunction again for a month. I had a girlfriend at the time, a girl with whom I could have normal relations until before the episode. Just by kissing her or looking at her provocative body he had erections. After that, she no longer had them. I was able to have sex with her a few times after the injury (s), but more often than not, she had weak erections, like 60-70%. I tried ginseng, the same happened with the previous supplements. Bruise. The same. Etc. Until I tried the gingko biloba. I bought it as someone who buys something by chance, because he saw it on a shelf. I took the first pill. And after a couple of hours, an incredible erection! I took two pills daily for about 10 days and during those days the problem was solved. That happened about a year after the injury. That is, 10 days when I woke up with my penis fully erect, and I had erections just thinking about my girlfriend. I thought I was cured.
It should be noted that when I took the gingko, I felt the general circulation of my body improve, and the never before noticed feeling of free and fluid circulation in the area of the pelvic region, anus, penis, testicles. The more I took, the better my erections were. I felt more physical energy, blood flowing through my spine, reaching my brain. I was emotionally ecstatic. I felt the blood flow happily towards my penis and every day I felt more strength in my pelvic floor, I felt the bc and ic muscle contracting with increasing pressure, as if they were adjusting, with force. Seriously, I felt like I was cured.
Around those days I began to go to a ceremonial act practiced by indigenous people in the country where I live with the aim of helping to improve my condition (Colombia). We drank yagé (a plant with spiritual purposes, wonderful, by the way) this plant produces vomiting and diarrhea (detoxification and catharsis) and well, it was a night with a great mental learning. But the next day, dysfunction again. Not even the gingko worked anymore.
By the way, yagé helped me get out of alcohol. I keep taking it now. But the truth is that after that night, I no longer felt the effect of the gingko biloba in any of the aspects mentioned above. I don't know if it was by chance or if the intense vomiting during the ceremony night made my pelvic floor loosen again.
Now comes the most curious part of the story.
In those encounters with indigenous knowledge, he met a girl. I fell in love with her. I dumped my girlfriend (too bad it happened, but we had a lot of problems) and started dating this new girl. We dated for about two months and I started to notice something: every time I kissed her, she started to get an erection. And in fact, it was almost complete. My previous girlfriend is a woman with a beautiful body, big and beautiful breasts and an equally big and beautiful buttocks. The new girl is chubby, with a beautiful face and a tenderness that falls in love. With this girl I had partial erection problems in the first sexual encounters (which did not materialize). But after a couple of months we had sex. The erection was complete. The same the next day. And the next. I met her on weekends and we spent two or three days together, days in which we had sex several times a day without any inconvenience. By the way, they are big erections. During the days that I spent with her, I was erect most of the day (we made love since we woke up) but when I returned home, the erections began to gradually decrease again. I broke up with her a month ago. And the problem continues.
Now, my symptoms (it seems to me, are multiple):
initials:
- penis twice as long and thicker in flaccid state.
- absence of morning erections or weak morning erections. Absence of spontaneous erections.
- I think some fibrosis on palpation. I also have vein-artery induration on the dorsal part of the penis.
- Palpable nodules near the glans (which have decreased by half taking cayenne pepper and garlic)
- When the erection is complete, it is difficult for it to go down, even after ejaculating.
Symptoms that appeared months after the injury:
- pain or cramp in the coccyx, which radiates to the buttocks, crotch, and sometimes down the legs. It occurs frequently when sitting up, and also (but less intense) when lying on the back. This pain is not constant (thank God) but it appears or disappears for periods of time of a few days.
- Intermittent and occasional pain in the bc muscle and in the penis. Also sometimes, pain like small needle sticks, or feel like a small burning in the crotch.
I would also like to note that although without results, I continued taking gingko biloba. But curiously, a couple of times I have felt that absolutely noticeable blood flow in my pelvic region and penis and that couple of times I have returned to almost automatic erections.
Surely I still have enough to describe, but I think I have written enough.
What do you think about it, Romero?
Thank you very much for reading such a long text. And thank you very much for wanting to help. Best regard !

Hi Pangolo! You're welcome
Ok. Let's explore this.
More details about your story:
"- It all started by jelqing. Before jelqing I never had any problem getting an erection. I am 32 years old, I play sports and live a healthy and energetic life.
- One night, after a very promising jelqing session (I had a very hard erection) I couldn't stand it anymore and ended up masturbating. The next day Inoticed that I couldn't easily get an erection, and it has been that way ever since. This happened 10 months ago.
- I don't have hard flaccid proper. My penis changes states in thestrangest way possible: it is usually a little longer than it used to be in a flaccid state. He feels a little thicker (maybe a littleswollen) at times, like rubbery, as if his texture had changed. This has improved with supplementation. Now he has almost no gummy texture. If it is a little longer than normal in a flaccid state but the gummy texture is almost gone, I think thanks to ginseng. The ED continues anyway.
- At other times, but only very rarely, my penis feels flaccid as if its texture were a bit stiffer in the dorsal part. In addition, I have noticed that the veins, arteries, nerves, or whatever is felt on the back of the penis, are somewhat hardened, as if they were tendons. This feels much more when my penis is erect (which happens very rarely) and the stiffness comes only until a little before the half of the trunk of the penis. It is two or three veins, arteries or nerves that feel that way, rigid, like tendons in an erection state.
- I have had periods of time of up to a week where my erections are almost normal, strong, lasting, erections of 15 or more minutes. These periods of erection (which unfortunately have only happened four or five times since my injury) are accompanied by a pleasant sensation of warmth and pleasure in the area of the perineum. But then they leave (usually after masturbation, or a strenuous period of activity) and take a long time to return. If my penis is wrong, why does it get erect in periods of time that vary between 3 to 6 days?
- Another thing. I have a feeling of tiredness in the buttocks. And sometimes, when I try to get an erection and I can't, my glans feels cold, but the odd thing is that I also feel the same thing on my toes! This symptom has begun to occur a few days ago.
- I do not have hard flaccid, I suppose, because I do not have the symptoms of such a condition: I do not have a retracted penis (on the contrary, mine hangs more than normal) I do not have discoloration in the glans, it does not feel stiff most of the time, in I really have no idea what has happened. A muscular problem? An alteration to the morphology and tissue and vascular structure of the penis? A nerve injury? Or a little of everything?
- I had a jelqing injury about 8 months ago. Initially I contemplated all the hypotheses: venous leak, Peryones, etc. However, he had periods of up to a week in which I have completely normal and strong erections, only through thought. From this I deduce that it is not my penis that is wrong, since on those occasions it works 100%.
- The dysfunction returns to ejaculate. However, my symptoms do not coincide much with symptoms like HF. I usually have a semi-rigid flaccid penis (but it is a slight stiffness), and the texture feels a bit rubbery, although this has improved, it already feels softer. But most of the time my penis hangs more than normal without HF. These two states (the semi rigid penis - semi inflated and the soft penis state that hangs more than normal)
Do you think this has something to do with HF or any pelvic floor condition or related muscles?
In short, I think that if my penis has worked so similarly to normal for some periods of test time that in general my penis is not damaged, I think it is something else.
- Sometimes I think I don't have much to worry about. I have had periods when my penis works almost normal, but it is about 4 or 5 days. But then the dysfunction returns: difficulty getting an erection and sustaining it (however, this has improved, they are already sustained, but they are weak erections, however I deduce that the tumescence system works well). Obviously I would like to return to my previous state, where I never even worried about whether or not I was going to get an erection.
- What I am sure of is what I started by jelqing, because it was in that exact period of my life that I noticed an alteration in my sexual functions. In addition, it is normal that if you pull your penis in a way that is not natural, alterations are generated. What we never imagined is that it would be so serious."
Considering your story and your symptoms, the only cause that seems plausible is a muscle problem. Pelvic floor tension. Most likely, muscle contracture in BC and PC. And, although you don’t have Hard Flaccid, I suspect that your IC muscle is also starting to get a little tense. The muscle (relaxation, contraction, flexibility, contracture) is the only modifiable structure that justifies the undulating/wavy pattern of your erections (good-bad-good-bad, etc.), during the various periods, situations and contexts of your life.
I agree with you, I also think that jelqing may have been the initial cause. Perhaps, a small injury in the BC muscle. Mainly, for doing aggressive, erect jelqing and from the "inside" part of your penis. However, your harmful behaviors (alcohol, drugs), your daily lifestyle (sports and supplements) and sexual life (more sex, less sex. Porn??. Are you clenching too much during stimulation??), contribute to the wavy pattern (relaxation, contracture , more blood flow, less blood flow) of your erections.
I also agree with you, you have NO problem in your penis. If there are periods when you can get 10/10 erections, you have no problems in your penis. Muscles are the only body structure that explains all of your symptoms. (Pornography too... You didn't tell me if you watch a lot or not...)
You don't have Hard Flaccid. So, your IC muscle is still reasonably healthy. However, this does not rule out that you do not have tension in the remaining pelvic floor. I think you also have a “Semi Hard Flaccid”. You have tension in the BC and PC muscles, without having too much tension in the IC muscle (which would cause Complete Hard Flaccid).
You have NO nerve damage. You would not be able to get 10/10 erections if you had nerve damage.
Why is there variation in your erections? Because the tension in the pelvic floor also varies. If you contract the pelvic floor too much during sex or masturbation, it can contribute to increased tension for a few days. Alcohol and drugs may also have this effect.
Gingko Biloba and Ginseng are supplements that improve blood flow. Therefore, they make erections easier, even if your pelvic floor may be moderately contracted.
Conclusion:
1 - You have not yet detonated the bomb (Hard Flaccid), but you are creating the time bomb (progressive/wavy muscular tension). You are creating tension on the pelvic floor with your behaviors and lifestyle.
2 - You don't have the real Long Flaccid. You have no nerve damage. You have a "Semi Hard Flaccid".
Solution - the same treatment as for Hard Flaccid:
1 - Read the first post of my Hard Flaccid thread
2 - Read the Hans Protocol.
As a precaution, give a month of absolute rest. See post 195 of my thread for the definition of absolute rest
Let the penis rest for the next month, and do only flexibility exercises for the pelvic floor.
You can continue to take the supplements you were taking. But please, stop drinking alcohol and taking any kind of recreational drugs. They are all erection killers.
Regarding Yagé (ayahuasca), I didn't know it. I was now reading a little about it. And it doesn't seem to have very serious side effects, when it is taken in a spiritual ritual or in a religious context. However, one of the possible side effects is Muscle Spasms:
- Risk assessment of ritual use of oral dimethyltryptamine (DMT) and harmala alkaloids
So, if you felt that after you started taking it, your erections got worse, maybe you should rethink if it's really worth it to continue taking it.
I wish you a quick recovery, PangoloLast edited by Romero MD; 10-26-2020 at 03:48 PM.

Hi !
First of all, thanks for your reply.
I would like to emphasize something especially persistent: the pain or cramp in the tailbone, which is activated when I sit down and also (but less so) when I am lying on my back. That pain or cramp usually radiates to the buttocks, and I also usually feel a feeling of tension in the crotch, as if there is a structure that is a little more elongated than it used to be, but also tense. When I feel this pain, which is frequent, I instinctively squeeze my buttocks and feel like a little cracking in my tailbone. This sensation is sometimes accompanied by a sensation of inflammation in the anus, but without pain. It's as if the anus and the part immediately below it are a little out of place, a little loose, or perhaps a little more out of where it should be. I think I caused some problems with my penis (which do not seem to be so serious, because as you say, I can sometimes have full erections) but we agree that it seems to be a mainly muscular problem, due to the symptoms that you see here. I describe.
What kind of exercises or supplements do you think can help me? Are there medications or natural supplements for these types of conditions or disorders? Or is the solution or can it be mainly through exercises?
Anything else. When I go jogging, the problem of feeling my anus out of place worsens. Also when riding a bike. Too bad, I like both activities quite a bit. But if I must do without them for now, I will.
Yoga, kegels (of which I am a little suspicious as there are people who have gotten their problems from kegels), massages, swimming, or a specific sport?
By the way, I will read carefully the articles or posts that you suggest. I believe that your publications are among the most valuable that I have been able to find, firstly because of your condition as a doctor (you have been studying in detail the global and local functioning of the human body for years) and secondly, because it shows that you do it with the intention of sharing and helping.
Regarding porn, I used to watch it. But I would rather not do it anymore (this is an advantage of the condition, as porn is mentally harmful, although I would rather just not be injured and not watch porn of my own free will) because it no longer excites that type of content.
About yagé, it is simply sacred. Taking it for recreational purposes and in its synthetic form is, for me, a mistake. It is taken for medicinal and spiritual purposes. It has helped me (and other people) improve as a person. I no longer have that life of excesses. And I have had erections (as I mentioned in the previous post, with the girl I met) even one day after the ceremonies. In addition, on a couple of occasions after attending such meetings, I have felt, while lying in my bed at night, how the muscles of my pelvic region and hips begin to tighten and I have come to have erections. I mention it because it seemed to turn off the effect of the gingko biloba. Perhaps the vomiting it produces overloads the abdominal region, which is, as I have read, directly related to the pelvic floor. But, for the rest, it is a wonderful medicinal plant, which helps in an incredible way those people who have felt the need to change something in our minds. It is a sacred plant. Powerful. A psychic tool, in my opinion, without comparison. A gift from God. That if, done with all respect and in the ceremonial context that you mention and with indigenous people or apprentices of the traditions who know well what they are doing, it is a serious matter, too.
Thank you very much for answering. I wish you a happy life.

You’re welcome, Pangolo
Yes, I think this is muscular tension. Most likely in the Levator Ani muscle. And maybe, also some tension in the glutes, piriformis and hamstrings. Just do stretches for everything. As I advise in my thread.
The supplements I took and the exercises I did are all on my thread:
- A Doctor with Hard Flaccid - Updates and Advice
But the most important things are rest, healthy eating and stretching (pelvic floor and the other muscles)
This is normal. Both are activities that create tension in the pelvic floor. Especially if you unconsciously contract it (Involuntary Kegels), while practicing them. Take a 1-2 month break from jogging and cycling, while you train flexibility. And then start them again, slowly.
Yoga is very good. Massages are very good.
Regarding swimming, there are reports of members who say it is good. I also think it's a good thing, as long as you don't have Involuntary Kegels.
Kegels are completely contraindicated during the early stages of Hard Flaccid. You can do them again months later, starting slowly, but only after you have gained flexibility in the pelvic floor.
Ok. Alright
You're welcome. Thank you, PangoloA happy life for you too
