Thankyou.
How often and for how long could/ should I massage my pelvic floor? I did too much today I think because I spent 10 minutes massaging it with a vibrator (which I normally can't do because it's too noisy and my housemates would hear, but today they were all out of the house for a bit) and then I did 20 minutes experimenting with massaging with my fingers, split into 10 minutes for each side.
I'm not entirely sure which area to massage. I covered all of the perineum between the sitting bones at some point today. And then I also massaged the musculature between the penis and the balls.
I also ejaculated today because I had 5 urges, and the 4th struck while using the vibrator on my pelvic floor, I stimulated my frenulum and it literally took like 70 seconds but I could feel my PF go tight during the end. I know I need to not masturbate, but it's so hard not to. Maybe it'll be easier know I know how it feels with a vibrator? Because I managed to resist all urges of using my hands this whole week, the only reason I gave in to the vibrator was because I wanted to know how it feels.

Yeah 10 minutes was just because I was experimenting with different angles and stuff.
So if I do a few minutes of massage each day, 3 x 5 minutes Hindi squats after each leg training session, how much stretching is too much? I used to only do 10 minutes of stretching a day with most stretches held for 45 seconds, which was good for getting rid of urinary issues and constipation etc, but then it reached a point where it was not doing anything anymore. I've now bumped it up to at least 22 minutes a day that is split into 2 different sessions.

I can't remember most names. Happy baby, hero pose (currently only hold this for 45 seconds), and child pose are the names I can remember. I also do a stretch where I lay flat on my back with my heels against a wall, my butt about 8 inches away from the wall, externally rotate my hips as much as I can and spread my legs as wide as I can while still maintaining relaxation. I do a stretch where I hold a lunge position leaning forward and ensure my front shin is perpendicular to the ground, stretching the adductor or whatever it's called from the leg that is further back. I also do a stretch where I lay on my back, with the bottoms of my feet pressed against eachother (meaning obviously that the outside of my feet are against the floor) and pull my feet as close to my perineum as possible, pushing my knees out wide but still staying relaxed. And also a stretch where I lay flat on my back and pull my knees as close to my chest as possible and keep my feet and knees about hip width apart.

I hope it will help. My PF isn't too tight when flaccid, it's when I'm erect that problems begin. And the second I start masturbating I feel my PF go really tight and I don't think it ever used to so that before my PF became hypertonic. If memory serves, I've not had any IK's while erect this week so my symptoms may be improving.

Good, go for that 22min yoga... To be honest, there are some people that do up to 40 total min a day, so you have room if you're not making gains. 2x a day really should be bare minimum until you are symptom free and can maintain that with 1 session/day (1 session is day is a maintenance routine). You will probably need to do yoga for atleast the next year, but really you should do it the rest of your life.
When you masturbate, focus on breathing properly and keeping everything relaxed. With the breathing being done properly in your yoga, it should be easier to maintain that technique during stimulation, also considering that your tension levels are pretty low. If you still can't stop IKs, then try standing. Remember, this stuff requires 150% undivided attention. You cannot be on your phone or listening to stuff except for relaxing music. Even when stimulating you must start off focusing on your PF only, little to no arousal is allowed.
Also make sure you are not rushing your breathing and shortening the duration, slowly inhale until you can't inhale anymore, filling up the lungs entirely. Imagine breathing with your balls. Make sure you are practicing the entire breathing motion, so it overpowers the tense muscles and trains them to move with the breathing (basically breath properly, this will help with the masturbation). Finally, understand that intimacy issues are usually the last symptoms to go when having PF issues, assuming you maintain your routine and healthy habits.Last edited by HansTwilight; 11-22-2020 at 01:46 AM.
