    I’ve been doing PE for a little more than two months now. Around week 5 I experienced some soreness took a 4 days off and was ok, but When I returned I ended up thinking that I could handle 5 days on 2 days off. Experienced some more soreness and took a week off. I then modified my routine to one day on one day off. Around week 7 I had trouble getting hard when I was trying to edge. I stopped doing PE and focused on recovering. Day two of my recovery I ended up having late night sex with my girlfriend ( was surprised that I got hard). The next day we tried having sex and I was unable to get hard.

    I’m now on day five of recovery and I’ve been wrapping my penis in a hot wash cloth, stopped masterbaiting and stopped having sex. I think I might’ve been using too much pressure when jeloqing. I guess I wasn’t paying attention to my PI’s because now that I think about it my errection quality hasn’t been the best when masterbaiting ( unless I masterbaited after my PE sessions)

    My workout routine was JP90. Edging, Kegals and reverse kegals.

    I noticed that I don’t really get aroused anymore and sometimes don’t get morning wood. It’s quite difficult now to get an errection.

    Two months ago when I first started PE I was extremely horny and always leaking precum and now it’s the exact opposite.

    Is this just fatigue or could it be ED? Could this be perminate nerve damage? How long should I step away from PE and masterbation ? Should I wait for my hormones and erection level to return to normal before resuming ?

    I’m currently taking Tribulus, Red Ginseng, Maca, Ginko Biloba, L-Arginine, L-Citrulline, and multi vitamins.

    I’m unable to get hard without physically stimulating myself and watching porn.

    I tried master baiting for 5 minutes today to check my erection quality and was able to get hard (80%) but the bottom of my penis was a little sore.

    Learning from my mistakes. PE is amazing you just need to really listen to your body 😊

    I’m also curious if I should be doing kegals while I’m recovering ?

      You should not return to PE until you get morning erections/good EQ again. I would just let it rest and see a doctor if it doesn't get better, don't do kegels.

        Thank for the feedback Hans! From your experience, does this sound like overtraining ? I also started Yoga yesterday which I heard is helpful.

          It is overtraining. Definitely do yoga and avoid kegels.

            stop testing your erections for now, you are just putting more pressure on your penis, until it heals to the point you are getting hard morning wood dont jerk off or do it once a week at most

                  Just a little update. I’m on day 7 of recovering. I’m still not feeling as much libido throughout the day. I’m starting to get erections again but no morning wood. I also no longer have any soreness in my penis. I’ll keep resting until morning wood comes back.

                    Doing the JP90 is a good routine for beginners but for some it may be a bit too much. If you are doing the routine, edging, masturbating and having sex, you are overworking your dong.

                    When you resume, try every other or every third day and drop the edging.

                    You can try a routine called PSEG beginners routine or cut the JP in half. You can also jelque on day 1 and stretch on day two, rest on day three and repeat. Also, stretching can be done with less intensity.

                    Ease it all up some, many gain better with less work.

                        So my erection quality came back and I’m begging to have morning wood again. Now I’m noticing that my pelvic floor is super tight. It feels tight when I sit, when I masterbait. I’m also having trouble emptying my bladder when I pee.

                        I took D-Mannose Powder it completely emptied bladder. A few minutes later I started feeling an insane amount of Libido, my legs were twitching for about 10 minutes. I tried filling up my bladder a few more times and felt similar relief after trying to empty my bladder. I masterbaited shortly after but felt a tightness in my pelvic floor when I ejaculated.

                        Should I shift my focus to pelvic floor balancing and step away from PE? Trying to really monitor my PIs. I’m just worried about missing out on my newbie gains.

                          I would relax and give it another week before thinking about pelvic floor work. What you are feeling may be the lingering results of overtraining. Were you doing kegels in your routine?

                            Ok thanks for the advice! Yeah for about two weeks I was doing 150 kegals and 200 reverse kegals (I was having a really hard time teaching myself how to do these) on my PE days.

                              Too many kegels. A lot of people have this fallacious attitude, "Kegels, Kegels, and more Kegels!!!" and that's how people get pelvic floor hypertonia/CPPS. With PE becoming more available over the internet people are abusing the exercise. Hell, most young guys don't even need to do them, and they really don't help much unless you are old or had an injury (PF muscle strain, overactive pelvic floor).
                              Only do like 5 erect kegels, and start off with 3 second holds and work your way up to 5 sec, add 1 kegels every couple days or so, until you hit 50, then move onto something like towel raises. Less is more with this shit.
