  • Any tips before seeing physio in male pelvic health (specifically for hard flaccid/er

    HISTORY:
So i’ve had issues for years, I started masturbating from a very young age with a goal to climax as quick as possible by clenching and kegeling as hard as i can, also have done lots of edging in the last few years (until finding out about the pelvic floor connection to my issues), i’m a stressful/OCD type person in general as well and i suspect i’m constantly kegeling during daily life.

    SYMPTOMS (had for years):
Hard flaccid, Penile pain, Can’t get an erection lying down, Weak erection unless i’m kegeling, Erectile dysfunction, Trouble keeping an erection, Premature ejaculation, Involuntary kegels, lots of things that.. I only really get pain in the perineum after edging for a long time and don’t get pain there otherwise.

    CURRENT REGIME:
-Hindi squat while deep breathing/reverse kegeling just as much as possible during the day, at least X3 a day, 5-10 mins each.
    -Childs pose x1-2 a day.
    -Cat cow pose x1-2 day.
-I don’t think i have anterior pelvic tilt but i do the Scott herman you tube video, don’t spend much time doing each thing though.
-May also lay down and do some reverse kegels but i feel a good stretch while doing Hindi squat and deep breathing into the pelvic floor more than anything.
(I'm looking to add things to the above list from previous suggestions i've had from posts)
-DAILY HABITS: Posture, trying to conciously relax it during daily acitivities.

    QUESTION:
I’ve actually found someone in the area who specialises in pelvic floor health/hard flaccid etc.. It’s nearly £100 and he will perform an ultrasound to see the degree of the tightness of the pelvic floor, which i don’t mind paying if its worth it! I was just thinking, you see a lot of guys on the forums and stuff who have been to see about pelvic floor/Hard flaccid etc and it’s always similar types of stretches/routines that are prescribed, is it worth seeing someone who will just prescribe the same stretches that i’m already aware of?
Does anyone have any tips on what i can tell/do to get the most out of my appointment with him?

    Thanks all!

The British physio seem to be world leading in this area ,however it is hard to advise you . In general every time you see a specialist you are beting he can tell you something you don't know . Sometimes they do sometimes they don't .
