    Let me add this for the people that have never had an overtensed PF in order to undertand the feelings that it creates.

    A healthy mind is always keeping the "center". ( meditation - Chinese terminology)
    When something bad is happening to your life and you feel lost your mind is getting out of its "center" and this creates anxiety and grief.
    Getting back into your mind "center" is taking away the anxiety and/or grief and you feel once again relaxed and focuced.

    When you are experiencing a severe PF overtension it gets you completely out of your "center" and you have 24/7 feelings of anxiety/grief and you are not focused in anything... its like living in a foggy dream( the foggy dream was also mentioned in the medical article).

    And I have to say again... the mental problem is not happening just because you are thinking you have a HF all the time.
    its happening because the nature of this nerves when they are being pressed, they create this problem to your brain.

    Now I have to say for sure... that having a strong mentality will help a lot for decreasing these bad feelings and also helps to not get sucked in this vicious cycle that makes the problem get chronic.
    BUT the solution is only comming with the success of the PF relaxiation... that will get it come lower and stop pressing these nerves.
    When this happens you feel down there a feeling of refreshment... a feeling of this area to be able to breath again.
    When you have an overtensed PF this area is being felt like its suffocating.
    The mental balance comes Imediately when the PF gets lower and the nerved are not being pressed anymore.

    Find out what is causing you this tension.
    In my case it was the upward PE stretching. It was stretching my PF is a bad way and in just 1 session my PF was getting tensed.
    Also overkegeling .
    So I quit both of them and I didn t had an other incident.

    I think jelqing upwards was the cause of mine and ask kegeling while having sex and masterbating and I also have APT

    Everyone here please read my thread on the cannabis induced HF. I’d say I am practically fully healed in a week by dedicating my entire day to breathing techniques to activate my PNS. I cut out coffee and all recreational drugs or stimulants.

    I also do RK’s, stretches, rolling out and supplementing. I have got morning wood as hard as a rock for 5 days straight and have been having some bomb sex again. I have also done some exercises to activate my IC muscle but I believe this issue is more of a nervous system issue.

    Actually since I started my breathing technique (slow in through the nose and slower out back out the nose) I haven’t had tight muscles even after working out. I also started PE again and haven’t seen any setbacks. The breaths should be deep as well.

    I will add that my anxiety/stress over the situation was only making it worse with all the pressure I was putting on myself, as well as the depression. This is really what it comes down to, fix the nervous system and everything loosens up.
