Hi,
I started PE'ing 2 years ago, never saw any results, all I ever got was bruises that still haven't left the skin of my penis.
One night 1 year ago, I was doing PE and Edging and either the jelqing or edging somehow left me very numb/no feeling in penis.
At first I decided not to freak out or anything, I thought "well there is no pain, no blood, I'll see a doctor tomorrow", went to the doctor which refered me to a specialist.
So now I had to wait 2 weeks to see this specialist and I was obviously hoping the problem would resolve on its own by that time and reinsurance from people in PE community made me stay optimistic.
No change occured in those 2 weeks, went to specialist, he did some vibration type test to measure my sensitivity and indeed, there were almost 0 pressure sensitivity in my glans.
But that was all he could tell me, worthless doctors... I already knew that...
So I kept reading and was convinced that it would resolve on its own.
Well now it's the 1 year mark since this incident happened and I have regained no sensation, there has been no change what so ever...
I eat healthy, no medication, no other injuries, I don't ride a bike etc. etc.
Is there any similar stories ?
I've googled this 1000000 times and read the few stories on loss of sensation in penis, but with no solution or even sure if they suffer the same I do.
Obviously this has left me lost, very very lost.
I quit my job, quit my education and ended my relationship with my girl, I have to recover before I can do anything.
This may seem a bit extreme, but no, when you never get the release of an orgasm you turn pretty insane.
I now understand why some impotent people turn to self inflicted pain or heavy drugs just to feel SOMETHING, SOME RELEASE.
I've been so close to doing heroin (and I NEVER even smoked cigarette before) so many times, just to feel SOME pleasurable release again...
So I realize I will probably end up killing my self pretty soon, which is why I'm now asking anybody on every forum in a desperate last attempt
Additional info:
I get rock solid erections and morning wood/nocturnal is the way it used to be.
I can't feel anything from orgasm except for seeing the ejaculation, but I don't FEEL the ejaculation anymore.
Neither do I feel urine passing through my penis, the sensatino inside my penis is literally GONE.Last edited by LostInTorture; 11-19-2010 at 10:53 PM.

Try one more thing. ginko biloba 240mg per day. And please give it at least three months to take effect. Also are you still able to get fully erect?

What is ginko biloba doing?
Yes I get fully erect, I'm just 21 years old and I get erections just like I did in my teens still.
nearly always wake up rock hard, but I dont FEEL it until I see it.
It feels as if the penis is not a part of my body anymore.

Well if you can get erect then you half way healed. Ginkgo is an herb it has a chemical in it called NGF (nerve growth factor) It can heal nerves. But nerves heal slowly. You can get ginkgo almost anywhere Wal-mart and most drug stores. It is not expensive costt aroun 10-20$ depending on the brand. You want it standardised to 24% glycolides.

Hmmm...
But my erection was never "hurt" so I don't see how its a sign of "half way healed" ?
Also, for all regenerative nerve damages I see 12 months tops =\\ If you havent recovered by then its likely permanent.
Maybe if I had heard about Ginkgo a year ago =\\\
any story that resmbles mine? (1+ year after, cuz most people who recover from sensation loss usually only had it a few weeks which is completely different)

I understand your frustration, but killing yourself is not the answer. *Have the docs ruled out multiple sclerosis. *It's an autoimmune disease that affects the nerves. *It's common in young people. *I'm not an expert, but if you get erections and you can ejaculate, there is nothing wrong with the nerves in your penis. *The problem is that the message is not getting to your brain and it's a long way to your brain. *Are there other parts of your body you don't feel? *I have a friend that was just diagnosed with ms. *She is 23. *Sometimes she can't feel her arms. *The condition is treatable. *Hope you find an answer soon. *

Hello, thanks for replying.
I wont go into a deep philosophical debate about suicide being the answer etc. all I can say is that I've been through this 1 year and have thought about this for a long long time.
At first I also hoped it was MS or some other neurological disease that would be treatable, I would rather get a horrible disease and die in 10 years but live those 10 years with sensation than rest of my life without.
Unfortunately the nerves that make you erect is not the same as the ones that give you sensation (hence a lot of paralyzed people still have erections)
Again "Unfortunately" its only the penis that is affected, this was a direct result of PE/Edging that night.

And they did nothing? Does seem pretty worthless, i'd try to get some more opinions on that and possibly some bloodwork done. Does your glans ever swell up anymore? I mean that if like when you edge do they ever get fully engorged at all? Good thing is that you don't have total ED like some people get, so it could always be worse. If you hang in there I believe that you'd overcome this easily. Have you lost any size?

Turtle unfortunately there are only like 20 specialists on this WHOLE PLANET that knows or has the ability to investigate further.
Which will costs 10s if not 100s of thousands and even then there is not really any reason to believe they can do anything, as far as I know they cant grow nerves yet and wont be able to for many many many years.
I've had bloodwork done, nothing out of the ordinary...
My penis gets 100% erect if I'm "psychologically horny" but I dont feel my penis swelling up, due to it being numb.
I just see it and feel it with my hand.
Some would say "consider yourself lucky that you aren't impotent, you can atleast still get erect", and I understand why you would draw such a hasty conclusion, but as a matter of fact THIS IS _WAAAAAAAAAAY_ worse.
If I had to pop a pill to have sex, I'd do that NO PROBLEM.
With erectile dysfunction you dont have loss of sensation and pleasure, only the inability to get it up and that is VERY treatable.
I would seriously rather have a 10 cm erectile dysfunctional penis that has sensation than my 16-17cm fully erect NO SENSATION penis.
Sure I can please girls, but I wont GET ANYTHING in return.

Hey LostInTorture, sorry to hear about your problem. AvoidCaffeine is completely right, suicide is never the answer. Personally, I suffered a jelqing injury about 3 years ago and initially I was like you. My penis is not 100% back to normal, as a matter of fact not even close, but it did heal somewhat over time. I didn't really find that ginkgo, multivitamins or fish oil did anything at all really. I had a bit of loss of EQ and sensation (not as bad as you got it though), so I got a piece of both worlds. If I could go back in time, I would - but that's not gonna happen. I haven't googled jelqing for a while now, and it really makes me sad to see more new guys going through these injuries.
I understand you are young, and this is probably the first real hit you have taken in life. However, you do get over it eventually. If this is the worst thing that happens to you in life, count yourself as lucky. One of my university friends got into a car accident soon after graduation, and it left him severely mentally handicapped. He can never do anything independently for the rest of his life again. Something like that just totally changes your future in an instant. I'd rather be in your shoes than his. Not to mention all those people with diabetes - most probably can't get erections at all, PLUS they have to deal with all the other symptoms as well.
Anyway, I do hope your problem resolves by itself. If not, you never know, medical breakthroughs happen all the time, so maybe some genius urologist figures it all out!
