  • Penile fracture

Well a few years ago back in 2010 or 2011 I believe I was masturbating too roughly and heard a pop and lost my erection I believe at the time I didn't think much of it and thought my penis would just heal itself,

well fast forward to today my girth is smaller I went from 4 and a half to 3 and a half erect I believe, penis is just completely different shape like a noodle or bowling pin a thinner then before, no morning wood, erections and my penis are just very overall different and not healthy if that makes sense( penis even seems to bury at times though I've been told I don't have adult acquired buried penis) when pumping which forces blood into my penis I can't even stay erect and jelqing seems to do a little bit for my length though not much if nothing for my girth I believe

I've had 2 dopplar ultrasounds and both came back normal(according to the urologists) one in 2012 and one about 10 days ago, I'm wondering would a dopplar ultrasound even pick up a tear in the tunica, well long story short I just want my penis fixed and to be able to do PE again and gain size especially girth which I think due to my injury may not be possible as of right? it seems like my penis can't hold blood though the dopplar said it was according to the urologist , so what should I do I want to get fixed and achieve a bigger penis asap

Would a dopplar test detect a penile fracture?

I believe I have fractured my penis a few years ago I heard a popping noise and my penis hasn't been the same since its been 3 and half years ago since the incident and I'm still not better and according too 2 urlogists my dopplar test was normal?

      Q. When I do the rotary stretches, particularly in the anti-clockwise direction, I seem to get a weird clicking feeling after every full circle. What is this?

      A. This is the ligaments riding over the pubic bone. I got this quite a bit when I first started. It’s nothing to worry about, unless it bothers you. After you stretch your ligs for awhile, it will stop.

I heard the popping noise while masturbating not doing PE, I don't get morning wood, even while pumping my penis can't stay erect and my penis just isn't the same both flaccid and erect it doesn't look or work like it once did

What the hell should I do?

            Penile fracture and the tunica

I have strong reason to believe that 3 plus years ago I sustained a penile fracture (I never got surgery for it and even just heard the snap and believed things would heal up on there own) sadly I was mistaken my penis has been all messed up in the following years.

Though both my dopplar test were normal according to the uros , now I don't get morning wood, when pumping I cant even hold and erections and Cialis seems to have no effect plus my loss of sensation and penile deformity ( not peyronies disease though)

now a penile fracture according to Wikipedia is rupture of one or both of the tunica albunigea and unless I'm wrong here length gains are made through stretching the tunica and girth gains are made through forcing more blood flow and expanding the tunica now I'm scared because even with pumping I can't get erect and even had to buy a smaller cylinder size due to my penile atrophy or deformity , I of course want to gain length and girth though don't know if its possible because of my tunica healing wrongly

Any one have any advice or knowledge about this kind of issue I would love to hear it Thanks again I'm desperate here

I think the safest thing to do would be honest with your doctor, and tell them what you are trying to do. With your injuries, PE may not be an advisable exercise, or even safe.

For real on that. You need to see a urologist, bro. Most if not all of us are unqualified to give other advice.

I've been to many urologists so far they are pretty much worthless and it sucks because I also have pelvic floor problems diagnosed by a 2 urologists so I don't know if stretching or jelqing is such a good idea for my pelvic floor after the way I've been feeling, the urologist gave me a referral to a sex therapist so that's my next option and I'll see where that goes

                      jonyoung,

I think we've chatted before but I can't remember about what. I'm sorry to hear what you're going through man. I don't normally look through the forums that much. I'm really only active on my personal log, the hard flaccid forum, and the premature ejaculation forum.

What you have explained sounds very similar to what I went through when I was 13. I had an erection that was forced downward and I heard/felt a pop. I immediately freaked out obviously, developed hard flaccid, penile deformity (downward curvature), and terrible EQ. Many other problems developed over time.

Here's the thing, did you experience bruising or severe pain within the shaft during the time of the injury?

If there was no bruising and only mild pain, it is most likely that you didn't actually fracture your penis. The reason I think this is true is due to the doppler test being normal. If your corpus cavernosa or spongiosum were fractured, they would have bruised severely and definitely would not be passing the doppler test as far as I know from my research and experience with all of this.

I too thought I had a penile fracture but was too scared at the time to tell anyone and so obviously I didn't get surgery which is recommended immediately if there is actually a fracture.

Can you give some details in regard to the deformity of your penis before/after the injury?

Do you suffer from hard flaccid?

Did you take any kind of break from masturbation/porn following your injury or in the past 3 years?

Do you currently masturbate or watch porn?

I understand how frustrating urologists can be. I've had no luck with any of them and I've been to about 5. They all spew the same bullshit unfortunately. It's really quite sad that they get paid so much.

                      My advice:

                      1. LET IT REST. Don't masturbate, don't watch porn, and whatever you do PLEASE don't try to stretch it, jelq it, or any of those other exercise techniques!! It WILL NOT heal your penis and most likely will cause other problems.

                      2. Adopt a plant-based diet with tons of fresh veggies, fruits, and grains. Also, if you can, start juicing. It's an AMAZING healing method. People are literally reversing all kinds of diseases through cold-pressed juicing including cancer and heart disease.

                      3. Start meditating and doing GENTLE yoga to help your body heal itself. Unfortunately, your penis is not the first thing on you body's healing list and you most likely have other things going wrong that need attention before you penis will get more attention. I know that may sound crazy, but it's true. There is more healing power within the knowledge of your own body than any doctor in the world. You just have to provide it what it needs and give it TIME.

                      4. Do some cardio (not bike riding though) to help release endorphins that you won't be getting through sex/masturbation. This will help your mood and overall ability to heal as well as increase circulation.

By the way, how old are you?

Check out my thread (especially page 5 and after) for a huge list of tips in the health department that can get your body's own healing mechanisms up and running at full speed.

I'd really like to help you out because I have suffered for 10 years now from an injury of this sort and it's because I never knew what to do about it and all the things I did do only perpetuated my issues. I can confidently tell you that I'm very close to being completely healed. It does take a lot of time, patience, and dedication. You have to believe you can overcome this.

                      all the best

Well voodoo I can't really remember if I had severe pain, I remember a little bit of pain though nothing too severe, and as far as bruising goes I really cant remember all that well though I believe yes there was bruising

I am 25 years old and my penis has a huge vein in on the left side is shorter and thinner, both erect and flaccid and while flaccid the skin sometimes almost covers the glans ( though the uros claim that I don't have a buried penis) the penis retracts or buries so to speak, I can't get erect while using a penis pump and its almost impossible for me to hold an erection standing up despite using Cialis

I believe my fractured occurred on my left side the left side feels different then the right (unilateral fracture), my penis is not hard when hard flaccid though at the beginning when the injury first occurred it was, I have been to 2 pelvic floor specialists, I took some breaks some porn and masturbation yes and try to avoid them both as much as possible though its easier said then done,

and well my injury occurred I believe in late 2010 early 2011 and both my dopplars came back normal one in March of 2012 and the other in May of this year though one of the urologists told me that the dopplar would come back normal and there's not anything they can do if I had suffered a penile fracture and it healed wrong on its own

my question to you is though wouldn't a dopplar or radiography or something be able to tell if the penile fractured had healed wrong especially if its a unilateral fracture because one side would look different from the other am I right or wrong here?

I already do stretching for pelvic floor issues though my penis issues and pelvic floor issues are separate according to the therapists and as far as let it rest I don't really see how that could be use full I've let it rest many times and not a whole lot happened , and when you say start juicing what exactly do you mean?

I plan on quitting the masturbation and porn though I don't see how not touching my penis will cure anything if a fracture has occurred I heard the pop , and jelqing if anything would increase blood flow

though wouldn't any test be able to tell if the fracture did heal wrong? I know that are unilateral and bilateral fractures

and for what its worth it may be another issue like a pelvic , a hernia, or perennial, when I stand up I can't really hold an erection and when I stand for especially for long periods of time it seems as if blood flow is restricted to my testicles causing hormonal problems though uros don't know what to do about this either

Alright so here's my evaluation of your situation and questions for you. It would really help if you could answer these things.

1.) You had an injury to your penis. Can you give details of the injury exactly how it happened? Can you describe how your life changed mentally/emotionally after the incident?

2.) You heard a popping sound at the time of the injury. I did too. This doesn't mean you fractured your penis. It's much more likely that this sound has to do with one of your ligaments. Do you find that your erections "droop" while standing especially? Like they aren't supported properly?

3.) You have many symptoms of Hard Flaccid including difficulty with erections when standing and just general erection difficulties. The reason I think you most likely are suffering from Hard Flaccid Syndrome (not to say it's the only thing though) is because you have psychological trauma that you are dealing with surrounding the state of your penis. This creates a fear response within the nervous system and can literally destroy your normal sexual functioning from the inside out. Unfortunately the internal root cause of this can only be healed through deep relaxation and confronting the fearful thoughts and feelings surrounding your injury. You have to come to terms with it all. Not to say that this will heal everything but it WILL reduce the symptoms that are rooted in the mental state of hard flaccid. And from that point forward you might be able to heal any other physical issues. But you have to get a handle on your mental state first and foremost before healing can even take place. Abstinence is part of what has helped many people with this including myself. You gotta somehow let go of your worries while still making conscious choices that help in your day to day healing. It can be done.

4.) Have you read HF Unraveled? Do you notice yourself kegeling involuntarily when you masturbate? Has premature ejaculation ever been a problem?

And also, if you're masturbating I assume that means you are able to get an erection via porn and stimulation? And the erection is strong enough for ejaculation? Do you find that your orgasms are not as pleasurable as in the past?

I already do stretching for pelvic floor issues though my penis issues and pelvic floor issues are separate according to the therapists
Well, unfortunately (or fortunately really) they are VERY much connected. A pelvic floor that has problems causes direct problems for the penis. There can't be an erection without the pelvic floor. So really, this notion is just not true. Fixing the pelvic floor will likely help with many issues.

and when you say start juicing what exactly do you mean?
I mean go buy a juicer and start throwing vegetables in it and drinking the juice! I've found that my beet juice recipe is helping immensely with the health of my penis. It just looks and feels better ever since I started drinking a fresh juice per day. Especially the beet juice version.

when I stand up I can't really hold an erection and when I stand for especially for long periods of time it seems as if blood flow is restricted to my testicles causing hormonal problems though uros don't know what to do about this either
This sounds exactly like what I've dealt with. It's rooted in your nervous systems reaction to the whole situation. And unfortunately, this reaction tightens the pelvic floor which essentially causes all these penis problems, which then cause you to keep reacting negatively. It's a terrible feedback loop. The only way to break it is to become more and more conscious of your internal state at any given moment. You have to start catching yourself when you freak out internally. It's a subtle thing to learn how to do but you eventually realize how much your emotions were causing tension in your pelvic floor. It takes time to reverse this problem but at least you're not reversing 10 years of this cycle happening unconsciously.

DEEP RELAXING MEDITATION helps more than I can even express. Lie down for 1 hour and listen to a meditation on youtube rooted in healing/relaxation or just put on soothing music. And watch your mind/emotions/physical sensations. Become very aware of yourself. Don't get upset with anything. Just watch it and keep watching it. You will eventually be able to relax very deeply into a state where thoughts don't arise and when they do they just pass through. Apply this type of conscious "mind watching" practice throughout your days too. You will find that there are many thought patterns causing you pain that you could choose to not attach to. You have to find positivity and hope in your overall outlook on this before you will begin to heal. Negative emotions cause negative reactions within the body. Science has already confirmed this.

And honestly man, I'm not saying you sound like you have a bad attitude by any means. It seems like you are doing everything you know at this point. BUT I also know what kind of state I've been living in for most of my life and it's rooted in this type of injury. Learning to detach from these emotions has helped me find more peace in my life and I do believe it's part of the reason I am healing. It's basically just Cognitive Behavioral Therapy or mindfulness.

Also, the reason I insist on abstinence when people are having problems is because in my experience it has helped in relaxing my pelvic floor. I'm now reaching a point where I think rehabilitation is the next step. I've pretty much reduced my hard flaccid symptoms to zero (premature ejaculation doesn't seem to be a problem anymore, orgasms are VERY pleasing again, involuntary kegels are greatly reduced and can be controlled through reverse kegels). Tightening happens occasionally in stressful situations but overall I'm much better. However, I think my pelvic floor is weak from all the years of improper functioning.

So now I'm beginning to do kegel exercises and masturbate once every week or two. I'm going to see how this goes. I think it will help reverse my downward curvature because there are muscles that need strengthening. That's my hope anyways. But I can feel how much healing has happened in the past year of healthy diet, yoga, abstinence (in phases), meditation, cardio, and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). Also realize, I have not been perfect. I've smoked pot here and there and also drink alcohol pretty regularly these days. But still overall I'm doing a shit ton better. My confidence is returning.

Sorry if I ranted. Try to give as much info as you can to your situation. I think HF is something to be aware of and as that gets better that could help determine any other factors outside of HF that you're dealing with.

keep your head up man. the human body is capable of miraculous healing. seriously.
