I feel some kind of tight string in between my penis

I'm sure it's a part of my penis but when I squeeze my penis while jelqing in a flaccid state I feel like there's some kind of tight plastic string in between my penis. What is that?

Is the urethra a thin tube and that's the string I'm feeling?

Could be a thrombosed dorsal vein. Google it, read up on the symptoms and compare it to what you feel.

I think I have one too. It's not fun!

You are correct. The it is the thickest at the base or near it.

The urethra is contained in the corpus spongiosum on the underside of your penis I believe, it's unlikely that's what your feeling, it could be where the tunica meet in the middle as they are tough but flexible. Be careful how much pressure you place on the top side of your unit as the dorsal nerve and arteries/veins run along there I think!

Don't think there is any plastic in your penis though!
