    In March I had a f* buddy over. I was drunk and we were in the bedroom fooling around. I woke up the next morning with the front of my Tidy Whitees pulled down under my balls. My penis felt cool/insensitive to the touch, but I didn't think anything of it.

    I was hung over and my f* buddy was still passed out, fully clothed, on the bed. My memory was blurry, so when she woke up I asked what happened. She said we were fooling around, she pulled my underwear down and was blowing me, but I passed out or fell asleep before we had sex, so she went to sleep.

    Anyway, that afternoon I tried to perform and couldn't get hard - very unusual for me, but I put it down to being hung over/lack of sleep.

    I'm 53 and still wake up with morning wood 2-4 times a week, but that week not once. The following weekend with the f* buddy I barely obtained an erection, the quality was very poor and it only lasted 5 minutes. Now I was concerned.

    A little research told me that ED usually comes on over time. Sudden ED onset is usually from trauma or injury... I started wondering about the cold/insensitive penis from the previous weekend.

    I decided to come here to see if anyone had a similar issue. Not exactly, but it seemed like the solution to most injuries was the same: rest at first, then a regimine of Keigles, Jelquing and porn avoidance. Possibly edging to increase stamina.

    One month of rest did not really improve the situation - my penis seemed to get worse: flabby/flat, was spending more time retracted and sensitivity was still low. I was starting to worry about possible permanent damage to the nerves. Wikipedia shows that all the nerves collect in the area the waistband was compressing for ~8 hrs:

    After 1 month I started my Kegel/Jelq routine:
    Week 1: 25 kegels 4x a day/25 Jelqs 2x a day
    Week 2: 50 kegels 4x a day/25 jelqs 2x a day
    Week 3: 50 kegels 4x a day/50 jelqs 2x a day
    Week 4: 75 kegels 4x a day/50 jelqs 2x a day
    Week 5+: same as week 1 except jelqing done 1x day .

    After Week 2 I got my first spontaneous erection! Don't think I was ever so happy to get an erection
    After Week 3 my erections were still infrequent, but firmness was comparable to before the injury. Duration was still too short (5-10 minutes max) and it disappeared quickly if i stood up.

    In week 5 I was happy with the progress I was making - I was ~ 80% of my pre-injury EQ - so decided to rest for a few weeks, and was glad to see EQ increasing even with the lighter workload.

    Six months post injury I am back to my pre-injury EQ

    Just wanted to share my success recovering from a penile injury.
