If the loss of sensation is due to pelvic tension, then following the suggestions made in above posts may help, but seeing a PT experienced in treating Chronic Pelvic Pain Syndrome would probably be the best option.
If it isn't due to pelvic tension, there isn't a definitive answer. PT didn't help me but luckily after six months I had that first improvement- three stabbing pains in the back of my neck, an intense, crawling, digging itch in my left thigh, and finally, the same crawling, digging itch in the exact spot on my shaft where the loss of sensation had first appeared.
Did you experience any tingling, draining, or other abnormal sensations in the genital region when or since it first started, or did it just go numb?Last edited by Nimble; 11-23-2015 at 06:08 PM.

I remember there being some tingling and abnormal sensation in my penis right when the numbness first began while on my trip. This subsided after a few weeks roughly.

If the tingling has subsided for a few weeks this is probably a very good sign. After each time I experienced a bout of tingling, the numbness spread. The tingling lasted about three months for me, and by the end of it I was basically an asexual zombie. Are you still able to feel a decent amount of sexual pleasure? Any premature ejaculation?

Are you showing any improvement?

I also have nerve/sensation issues after I use a penis extender, and it has not yet healed after 8 months. I believe that the time is important for these injuries. At the same time, viberect is a device that can help nerve regeneration, as well as stem cells (but for stem cell you need to make sure you do it in some FDA approved study or someone u can really trust). Meantime, any medicine or supplements you can take to be more healthy down there, besides exercise, is always good. You have to attack the problem from different angles at once.
Nerve should regenerate, specially when it is from minor injuries like jelking or extenders and not like a car accident or an operation where they get cut.
We will all heal at some point, that I am sure.

Hi Epoh,
I didn't say hard flaccid has to do with nerve damage. I am saying I have nerve damage and sensitivity issues due to using a penis extender. After I used it, I developed a lot of these issues, including hard flaccid, even if the hard flaccid comes from pelvic floor issues, I was just saying that I *also* have some sensitivity/nerve issues.

I read your initial post with the ribbed penis and other issues that you talked about. Everything about it screams classic case of CPPS/pelvic tension disorder. The fact that you could get erections when your mind was calm proves it's nothing serious. I am curious about the Doppler ultrasound reading. Are you sure the doctor said you had fibrosis? How good is your doctor?

Thanks for your interest Epoh
Essentially, my doctor is Dr. Irwin Goldstein. He is a great guy. He told me is just mild fibrosis at the base of the penis, which is where I also developed a small Peyronie plaque. I then went to Barcelona, to see Dr. Eduard Castanye, in Spain, and I showed him the pictures of the doppler ultrasound (I do have the pictures. May be I can upload them and you can take a look?). He said that it is diffuse fibrosis in the erectile tissue. And he also was able to feel and palpate the peyronie plaque in the base (in the septum, and towards the right corporal chamber). Then I went to Seville, to see Dr. Natalio Cruz, and he did shockwave therapy and iontophoresis. And now I am back in California.
However it is also true that along that period I had pain in the perineum from biking, and had this crazy intermittent pains in there. So probably just everything happened around the same time.
I can have normal erections when alone and calmed, pretty much every time, so I agree it might not be serious. But is hard to know if the rings-like dents and the inflamed right side is due to hard-flaccid or due to fibrosis. So I am trying to treat both somehow.
Hope I made it clear enough.
