  • Damaged Nerves From JES Extender! Help me out guys!

Hey folks, so in the early summer (July-ish) of this year, I ordered and received my Jes Extender Original. I started using it daily for an hour or so and did my best to follow the very vague and confusing instructions. I continued for a few weeks leading up to a summer trip to Montreal. In anticipation of the trip I was a little aggressive with using the Extender (in hindsight). Anyways, a few days into my trip I noticed my penis skin had virtually no feeling. Bottom line: I tried to cut back on masturbating after that time (a couple times a week only) upon advice from the Internet. Anyways fast forward to October 31st, I hadn't made really any progress in the feeling of my dick, so I haven't masturbated at all since that day (it's been 17 days now). I also began taking Methyl B12 at that time. So 17 days later and I STILL haven't really noticed any marked improvement. I really only have feeling on the head (glans) and the tip of my foreskin (I'm uncut). Basically I need to know if it is possible to heal myself back to normal/if anyone has done so in my situation. Let me know, I'll greatly appreciate any support or advice as this is ALWAYS in the back of my mind and has really been stressing me out. It really sucks because it's made me have to stop all PE as well and I'm at 6" erect and very small flaccid... In short, not where I want to be (pun intended). Help me out please guys

I want to hear from as many people as possible (especially other people dealing with this) before I make the decision to see my female family doctor... awkward

I'm going to abstain from porn/masturbation for as long as I have to. I just need some advice from other people and I need to know things will heal on their own before I see a doctor.

Hey Bale3, I am sorry to hear about what you are going through. I am experiencing a loss of sensation which started over a year ago. The first six months, it got worse and worse (tingling and burning), then started to improve (crawling, digging itching and pulsing pains). It is still improving very slowly, and sometimes can get worse again if I do something that puts pressure on it, such as accidentally kegeling too hard when I have to urinate.

The first six months, I had no idea if it would ever improve and was preparing for the worst when I had that first improvement, so hang in there. If you see a urologist, they will most likely just tell you that there isn't anything that they can do about nerve damage, and that you just need to wait and see. Keep us updated, and in the meantime, I would suggest finding some simple, fun activities (such as video games) that help take your mind off of it.

I've basically researched penile injuries for the past 5 years. It sounds like you have a minor strain of one of your pelvic floor muscles, most likely the ischiocavernosus. Stress levels are usually a big influence on this type on condition. I would recommend some pelvic floor stretching and massage along with lots of heat and relaxation. BTW, it's probably not nerve damage.

Heat dude, get you a warming pad and stretch, (pelvic floor). And take it easy on your self. Don't try and overdo it. Also make sure that you are not cutting off circulation strapping in to the extender. Also if you're just starting take breaks till you get acclimated to wearing it for long periods. And lay off going to pound town. Let that thing rest bro!

I'm really appreciating these replies guys! I'll try some pelvic floor stretches and see if that helps at all. I'll keep you guys updated in case you're curious. Feel free to add any more advice or anything, I appreciate it all more than you know!

If the loss of sensation is due to pelvic tension, then following the suggestions made in above posts may help, but seeing a PT experienced in treating Chronic Pelvic Pain Syndrome would probably be the best option.

If it isn't due to pelvic tension, there isn't a definitive answer. PT didn't help me but luckily after six months I had that first improvement- three stabbing pains in the back of my neck, an intense, crawling, digging itch in my left thigh, and finally, the same crawling, digging itch in the exact spot on my shaft where the loss of sensation had first appeared.

Did you experience any tingling, draining, or other abnormal sensations in the genital region when or since it first started, or did it just go numb?

I remember there being some tingling and abnormal sensation in my penis right when the numbness first began while on my trip. This subsided after a few weeks roughly.

If the tingling has subsided for a few weeks this is probably a very good sign. After each time I experienced a bout of tingling, the numbness spread. The tingling lasted about three months for me, and by the end of it I was basically an asexual zombie. Are you still able to feel a decent amount of sexual pleasure? Any premature ejaculation?

I also have nerve/sensation issues after I use a penis extender, and it has not yet healed after 8 months. I believe that the time is important for these injuries. At the same time, viberect is a device that can help nerve regeneration, as well as stem cells (but for stem cell you need to make sure you do it in some FDA approved study or someone u can really trust). Meantime, any medicine or supplements you can take to be more healthy down there, besides exercise, is always good. You have to attack the problem from different angles at once.

Nerve should regenerate, specially when it is from minor injuries like jelking or extenders and not like a car accident or an operation where they get cut.

We will all heal at some point, that I am sure.
