Post Priapism Trouble

Hello all,

I had a night which I have used Trimix injection had a good time. I fell asleed and woke up 9-10 hours later noticing that my erection wasn't still gone. It started to get painful too so I rushed to the ER. Doctor took the blood out of my penis, it was really painful and I had to stay there for hours. After that, doctor told me that I may have damaged my penis and might never be able to get it hard again. I freaked out with the risk of permanent erectile disfunction and went to an urologist a few days after. He checked my penis visually and examined it with his hands and told me I was lucky, I didn'T have the "bad" priapism which damaged the penis. He told me everything is fine and I can get erections again. However I still can't after like 10 days visiting him. There are some hard tissues/spots in my penis, when I touch some spots feel firm inside and I have a little pain. I mentioned those to my doctor and he repeated I have no problems and he checked for hard/firm/damaged tissues. I still can't get an erection. Should I wait? Should I panic? Is this going to get better in time? Have you seen any similar cases? Should I just wait for it to get better or are there any things I can do? I'm 26 and I used to have an active sex life.

Should you panic? yes panic all you want. Cry, jump, scream, wont make any difference. A doctor wont make any difference either. Is he gonna give you a pill for that? No. You just gotta wait and eat properly.

Why are you using trimix? Did you have a test dose at the doctor office before being prescribed? Trimix is only for patients that don't respond well to PGE-1 alone. The advantage of PGE-1 is that it is a biochemically compatible with the body since is the same molecule produced by the body. It gets destroyed by the body itself. Trimix contains synthetic chemicals that cannot be destroyed by the body, therefore increasing the chances of the "bad" priapism.

I used Papaverine because I had a porn addiction and my erection quality was even low on Viagra, Cialis etc.

And doctors might be useful for giving me a relief. I had huge relief after what my doctor said but now I can't get it hard and panic. It's not that I want to panic. I don't want to panic. Instead I want to remain calm. It's still not even a month after the medical intervention. Do you think at the same time both doctor might be right about it and also I'm having ED for now. (sorry for my english, it's not my nature language)

Doctor said it wasn't bad priapism so what I am asking is, is it too late for me? Does the penis recovers and will those firm/hard spots going to get soft and I will have my erection back? What else can I do about it?

Nobody knows that answer. Perhaps an MRI or CT scan can see the internal tissues to look for permanent damage. Otherwise, only time will tell.

So you had a porn addiction and were prescribed trimix?? That doesn't make sense at all. If you had a porn addiction you need a psychologist, not ED drugs. That is the classic medical stupidity. Treat the symptoms, leave the condition untreated. Your addiction is still there, now there is no cock anymore.

If you don't want to panic, then don't panic. Nobody is forcing you to do so. Perhaps your whole psychological imbalance has the same origin. Nutrient deficiency.

I've had priapism high flow verson but my penis has not been the same since. mine happened naturally though.. I have not had a normal ecertion since. then. I still get moring wood but weak ones I have not had a really good one since '12

If this injecting of the penis has been going on for years that in itself could lead to problems- attenuation effects, scar tissue build up, etc.

It was not ongoing for three years. Just time to time. Before this last incident I could have perfect erections without an injection. Yes, I was a porn addict, a big one so I got prescribed Trimix to get erections. Now I can only have %30 erections but it's not even a month before the incident. What do you think about what my doctor said? Should I stop worrying and it will get better and spots will get softer in time? I have same firm spots in my penis and I believe they are blocking the erection. Do you know any similar cases? What should I do?

If you want reassurance you'll need to visit a specialist. You should be doing all you can to restore proper functioning in a healthy way. If anxiety is a significant added factor then treatment in that area should be sought.

You might not want to hear this but your freaking out and time constraints you're putting yourself under isn't helping

How fast you recover and any special treatments you might require will depend on the extent of any potential damage you might have.

You and I have discussed these matters already. You have been given similar advice in the past but you're set on attempting to resolve the problems on the same levels as before

I promise this will be the last. Are there recovery stories on the same topic? What should I do? Any supplements or exercises to get that firm spot softer? Should I leave it alone and not even touch it to try to get an erection?

Bingo. I would immediately get on a high quality multivitamin, fish oil, cal/mag and joint supplements.

As big Al mentioned you can go to another doctor just to have reassurance, however your recovery depends on you. No more injections of course, you don't need them. That doctor scammed you. I would advise a psychologist instead to treat your addiction and the proper way to confront situations.
