    Hey guys, this is my first post here and unfortunately it's about a possible injury from squeezing too hard when masturbating, similar to jelqing. At that point I had no idea jelqing existed and that it should not be done on an erect penis. I'm 22 y/o and am active and in good shape. I do cardio 1-2 a week and weights 3x week.

    As for my history, I realized I had PIED earlier this year in January when I couldn't get it up with a girl (first attempt too). From then on, I abstained as much as possible (sex, masturbation, etc) and didn't watch porn at all. I made really good progress by the time summer arrived and hooked up with some girls. Achieved really nice erections and orgasmed from multiple oral and hj. Still avoided sex though. By mid November, I was getting nice erections on my own, whether it be from imagination or touching.

    Then one day while I was masturbating, I put a lot of pressure while stroking my erect penis. Basically starting from the base of my penis. I probably only stroked it like 10-15 times and for under a minute and then resumed my normal masturbation. I did this again the next day, again around 10-15 times. Only later did I discover jelqing and realized what I did was very similar to it .

    Anyway my penis felt fine. Didn't hear any pop or feel any pain after those sessions, and even after 3 days I could get nice erections from just imagination. Then I realized my glans felt smaller than usual when flaccid (around a week after my jelq sessions). Didn't think too much of it as I was still getting okay nocturnal erections. But then throughout that week my penis didn't improve and my erection was getting harder to achieve and were weaker. My nocturnal erection also disappeard for most of this week except for one of the night when I had a 75% erection that persisted for 40 minutes.

    By the end of that week on a Friday, I masturbated with my erection only at like 75% and also had 2 flaccid wet dreams that weekend for some reason. A couple days later on a Sunday I watched porn to test my penis and I had a very solid erection 90-100% with only a little touching on my part. The next day I tested again and I got a nice erection again but didn't last as long. Anyway I thought my penis was fine, and I decided to rest my penis and not test it any further for the rest of that week.

    Now, fast forward another week to today and my penis condition has gotten quite worse. In general my flaccid state seems thicker but definitely not as long. Here are my symptoms:


    Hard Flaccid: Not sure when I noticed this. Definitely didn't have this before all this. This comes and goes throughout the day. Usually appears when I stand up or walk. Also sometimes when I sit as well.

    Very difficult to achieve erections and no nocturnal erections:
    I can't even get semi hard by touching my dick now. A few days ago, I would be able to achieve at least semi but it would then go limp again. My nighttime wood would happen pretty reliably before all this. But I haven't had a good one in almost 2 weeks (which is the one that remained for 40 minutes that I mentioned earlier).

    Small, soft, and cold glans: My glans are definitely feeling softer now than it did before all of this. I also noticed that if I move around a lot or doing something active, my glans shrink to an abnormally small size and become quite cold. Once I sit down, the glans become fuller and warmer but this takes time. Also I notice my penis is cold when I wake up in the morning, which I feel my be related to the lack of morning woods.

    Numbness:
    Now this is a tricky one. Definitely when I'm in a hard flaccid state I feel more numbness (like 20% more) in the middle of my shaft. But when it's looser I don't feel as numb. The top of my shaft is also number than the rest of my shaft. Also it tends to be number in the morning as well.

    Good news is that I don't feel any pain. I'm going to go see a doctor this week and hopefully get a referral to a urologist. I guess what I'm worried most about is if I did any permanent damage to my penis... Do you guys have any input on this? Any tips for recovery? Sorry for the long post.

    1. Don't masturbate or test your penis for a month.
    2. Read about Reverse Kegels and Hindi squats. Do these for a month.
    3. No matter what don't watch any porn.
    4. See the doctor.
    5. Relax, don't worry about your penis.

    I think you penis will be fine. It needs rest.

      Learn how to masturbate gently, just like gentle sex.

      If you train your head and your dick to only reach orgasm by 'violent' masturbation, grip of death, you'll be having other problems when it comes to loving passionate intercourse. Think about it.

        Thanks for the tips, guys. A quick update, I'm scheduled to see a urologist on Jan 10. I'm gonna try to find one who can see me earlier.

        For my entire life, I've always masturbated normally with a light grip. Just a couple of times I gave more pressure than i should have. I'm just surprised that this would affect my penis the way it did already... Also unlike a lot of people my penis condition got gradually worse, which is kinda weird. Didn't hear a pop or pain or see any sudden erection loss during the sessions.

            I haven't really done much pelvic floor stretching. I've been doing some reverse kegels and hindi squats everday. I'm just having a hard time thinking how my pelvic floor could be the issue considering I didn't have any issues before the jelq sessions

              Do some heating sessions followed by flaccid cawk massage, daily. You can also massage and/or press on the inner penis if it feels tense. You can even tug on your dong lightly for some stretch action. You need to promote life gently back into your peen.

              Notice I said "gently".

              Light quick kegels will also help, NOTHING STRENUOUS!

              Keep up with the reverse kegels and squats.

              I don't think you'll need a urologist.

                Quick update:

                Still have a bit of a hard flaccid, but I don't think it's as bad as say a week or so ago. It still gets a little tense especially when getting up to walk or working out. My erections are still poor. Haven't had a full erection for almost a month now. The most it gets is around 60%. Whenever I feel aroused, I can feel blood enter my penis and it gets slightly longer and harder but it seems in general very stubborn and just does not want to get an erection.... As for morning wood, I had a few VERY weak ones, but that's it...

                I'm still gonna see a urologist cause I'm certain there's something physically wrong with my penis. The shaft is definitely thicker than before, but the glans are smaller than before.

                  So good news and bad news.

                  Good news is that my erections came back really strong on Jan 1. This was even after I masturbated twice in one day a couple days before. It was great. It was actually sometimes really hard not to get an erection from just thought alone. And My glans weren't cold like they were before. Thinking I was healing, I decided to cancel my appointment with the urologist. I also did not masturbate during this period.

                  Unfortunately this only lasted around 5-6 days. Over the past few days, I noticed my erections were getting tougher to achieve. And starting yesterday, it was like I was back to square 1 again. I cannot get a full erection AT ALL.

                  Anyway I pretty much don't get hard flaccid at all when sitting down now. I still get them when walking but it's not as bad as before. Exercising however makes it pretty bad. Also my glans get pretty cold again but again, not as bad as it was a month ago or so. One consistent thing I noticed since my initial injury is that my glans is smaller than it was. More specifically, it's narrower and pointier if that makes sense.

                  I just don't understand what's going on. How was it great last week and then all of a sudden, my erections disappeared again? I'm thinking of rescheduling my doctor's appointment but I'm gonna wait a little longer before I do to see if it gets better again. I also bought some gingko, garlic, and l-arginine supplements so hopefully those help..

                    Hmm exercise makes it worse, in my initial
                    3 months of hf whenever I did push-ups or squats my hf became worse and my errection stopped but when I stopped exercise for a week errection came back.So stop any vigorous physical activity.Later on you can take up exercise as I do after 5 months of hf

                      Well it's been almost 2 months and I barely see any improvements. The only thing that has changed is that my flaccid dick doesn't become rock hard anymore. Though I can still feel it pulling back and sitffen slightly (just not as hard as before), especially when standing up to walk. Morning woods are rare. It's pretty much impossible to get an erection from thought alone. And when I manually stimulate it, I can get a not so hard erection that disappears the moment I stop. Oh and I cannot get an erection when lying down from manual stimulation (was not a problem prior to injury)... only when sitting.

                      I also noticed the lump that runs through the bottom of my penis (the urehtra?) is harder and larger, both when flaccid and erect. Peeing is fine tho... I'm seeing the urologist on Wednesday so I really fucking hope they have an idea of what's going on.....

                        1)Were you doing any exercise before the injury occurred? like I used to do squats without any warm-up and I had been doing for 2 years and I feel this is the cause for muscle spasm.
                        2)Do you experience any back pain on prolonged standing like in a que?
                        3)Yes the urethra do appears prominent like a tube after hf that's corpus spongiosum, earlier I never noticed.
                        4)It's difficult getting errection or sometime impossible in standing position manually.
                        5) Stiffness will keep changing through out the day,while walking, sitting, coughing, sneezing,with different positions it's different and worse after workout.
                        6) Getting errection in sitting position and then on standing, errection gets heavy,contracts nd die down in seconds.
                        7)There will be no pain that will surprise you and still there is a gross damage,this will seem most peculiar.
                        8)Life will get depressing,thoughts of how fortunate you were before,fear of relationship,low libido will occur,and temptation to read the anomalies thread to find someone like yours and get a solution.
                        9) Earlier I used to squeeze muscles in perinium after urination (it's called kegel,I came to know after injury)and I kegeled involuntarily to get last drop out,it happened and I had no control on it,but since injury I can stop urination at the end without kegel.Also voluntary kegel will make hf worse.
                        10)Lots of minute details and symptoms are present but unfortunately uro will deny and say it's normal.

                          1). Yeah I did exercise before the injury. But it definitely didn't cause the injury as it was fine before that one day I masturbated too hard. I don't exercise much these days anyway
                          2). No back pains

                          I visited the urologist , and in a nutshell she said that by putting too much pressure I made my penis "unhappy" and it will take time to heal and I have to remain patient. Obviously that's much easier said than done hhaha.

                          Also, just like in the beginning of the new year, my penis was able to get strong erections again but only for a week. Now, it's hard to get erections again...If it's anything like that last time, it will be another 2 or 3 weeks before I get strong erections. Idk why it keeps going through cycles like this
