  • Sore Ligament

    Hey guys,

I'm almost certain I injured myself today ):

I've been doing PE for about 2 months - experiencing good gains in both length (.3 inches) and girth (.25 inches)
I was doing the JP stretches today and I think i've strained a ligament on my left side (I was pulling my unit to the right). I have never had pain/aching before from PE so i'm kind of freaking out at the moment. I think I simply held the stretch too long/hard, as I was paying attention to something else while I was doing it. There was no sharp pain or any pain at all during the stretching. I masturbated after my session and after I came I felt a soreness near the base of my penis where the ligament connects with the shaft. I have been applying some ice on/off but it still feels sore.

I don't really know why I'm making this post, as my research says that it was from stretching too hard and that I need rest - i'm just feeling really upset at the moment. It is really scaring me that my penis may never go back to normal - i'm wondering if this has happened to anyone else and how long it's taken to recover.

This is the info provided by Big Al about strained ligaments:

Strained ligaments- The occurrence of strained ligaments is fairly common. Strained ligaments a the base of the penis can occur from hanging/stretching too often and intensely without enough rest, or can occur from a single incident of excessively intense hanging/stretching. Most of the pain felt from strained ligaments can be felt at the base of the penis, and may extend to the interior of the pubis and even as far as the lower abdomen. Lots of rest is required for strained ligaments... and it's of the utmost importance! Doing PE with strained ligaments can lead to actual tearing of the ligaments, which may require surgery.
I have had this happen to me and it usually gets better within a few days. Don't worry about it, just rest for a few days and get your mind off anything PE related in the meanwhile. You will be feeling better in no time. Don't do any PE, don't masturbate, and warm it up every now and then.

To stop this from occurring in the future, set a timer for each stretch, and believe me, you are not going to gain faster if you pull too hard, so why bother?

Don't worry about it, it's pretty common.

      Hello again,
It has been almost a week and the pain is still there. I am pretty depressed about this and definitely devastated. I have read too many stories of people saying their ligaments never got better

What happened exactly? Did you get a ligament pop? I have popped mine a time or two, and I know one time it hurt like a bitch for a while afterwards. Applying a heating pad constantly and laying off the stretching seemed to alleviate the pain and it was back to normal after like a couple of weeks.
        Started - 6.25" NBP / 7" BP x 4.75" EG

        Short goal -7.25"(goal reached!)NBP** 8.25"BPEL x 5.75" EG (goal reached!)

        Long term goal - 8"NBP ** 9" BPEL x 6"EG

          Thank you for your reply.
There was no pop, I just noticed the pain afterwards. So it went completely back to normal? I think I need to be more patient, but i've read some people say this happened and they have pain for months onward which is why i'm worried.

Make sure to abstain from any pulling on it, even masturbating if possible, and heat it often. That's what helped mine heal.

Been a month now and the pain is still there, even though it has lessened. My groin area is also strained and my whole pelvic floor feels tight. I hope time fixes this...

If your penis in erect stance didn't change the direction is facing you don't have any kind of permanent issue.
If your penis, like mine, changed direction, you could have a permanent issue. You COULD, is not sure, and still it's not a problem at all.

Both cases, this is what you should do:
                  1) ABSOLUTELY, Yes ABSOLUTELY no PE till your pain goes away totally. And even After that wait 1 month and then go back slowly.
                  2) Apply GENTLY heat some times during the day
                  3) Since your injury has been caused by stretching your dick to the right, keep your dick to the left in your pants, and try to sleep in a position that keeps your dick to the left. This way you will stress the damaged ligament the least.
                  4) Take Antiinflammatory. Take them after eating lunch or dinner, taking them for some days without full stomach will cause stomachache. If you want to avoid taking medicine, and that's personally what I would suggest since taking medicines without a good reason is never a good idea, try to eat some food with Antiinflammatory action. Here's a list : 14 Inflammation-Fighting Foods - Health.com .
                  5) ABSOLUTELY, Yes ABSOLUTELY no PE. Dude, I mean this, whatever gains you got in 2 months you may lose them, but trust me you will get em back in 1 month when you gonna go back to PE. If you continue with PE you might create a permanent damage like mine, which is still here after 1 year and may still be here after 5. It's just having a twisted penis but trust me it can bug the shit out of you.
                  6) Possibly avoid sex and masturbation too. If your balls are getting purlpe, masturbate in the gentliest way you can.
                  7) RELAX, stress slows healings.
                  8) Feel free to contact me in private for any question, even tho I'd suggest you to continue your writing in this thread since is full of guys knowing tons more than me about PE.

Good Luck Bro, and remember whatever it is, like every other bad moment or injury you might have had in your life

That's really helpful and 6inchwonder I would also want to know whether it got better and how long did it take. Moreover did you have to go through any procedure? Thanks
