Anyone have ventral plication done for curvature?

I had a consult with local urologist, department head actually, and he recommends plication surgery to fix my severe congenital ventral curvature. He said I would be able to feel the permanent suture, but that they would be the size of an ink pen head. And they would not be seen, only felt. He also wants to deglove the penis for this procedure.

I have two issues:

1: I don't like the idea of degloving

2: I'm concerned about the suture knots that can be felt.

I'm worried about loosing length, like anyone, but I'm 8.25 erect on the long side of the curve. He said that if I were to loose length that it would be around 1 cm.

Has anyone had this done? Can you tell me how much curve you had before, how many sutures you had to have, if you can feel them, can anyone else(sex partner) feel them?

I got the call today from the person that schedules the surgeries, I need to make a decision. Sex is very difficult presently.

If you can't have decent sex now what would be the options?
