    So I got ambitious after extending for a month about a month ago. I decided to jelq this time around with a little extending. I got ambitious and I seemed to think you couldn't gain much by jelqing with less than 70% so i tried to stay around 80-90. I only did about 40 but I did them three days in a row because I didn't feel anything. I decided to stop jelqing for two days and just extended for an hour each day I took off. After the two day break I did 20 jelqs the same way with another hour of extending. The next day I felt a discomfort just below the glans and only on the right side. The next few days I noticed what looked like deep bruising but I really didn't feel much pain at all. That was about 10 days ago and the bruising isn't horrible just looks pretty far under the skin. I didn't feel random urges really to get hard for those first couple days. Then I decided to not masturbate for a week. Whenever I would get hard and have a pull at it the slight pain like very slight more like an ache would come back. After the first two days I noticed the bruising I stopped feeling any pain at all unless I would get hard and edge but it wasn't bad so I didn't mind edging anyways. I thought it would heal much more quickly so I decided to just not touch it for a while until bruising goes away. It now looks puffy on the skin like kind of built up and if I look at it from an angle it is definitely raised off of the skin in a circle. I know I may have dragged that out but i'm just curious if anybody has experienced this or heard a story or something like that. Thanks!

    From my reading on forum I can say to you that you shoul take week or two more off PE. In general your injury doesn't seem very serious but better leave it to cure.. I had slight ache in my left CC near base when I started with higher erect jelqs, I didn't have any bruising and discomfort left me after one week.

        Rest for however long it takes for bruising and swelling to go completely away. Don't test it by getting erections or masturbating. After it heals stay with low erection level jelqs. They really do work. It is safer not to do high erection level jelqs for a very long time, years. I still do low erection level jelqs. There are more effective girth building excersizes, but all of them should not be done in the first 6 months. Then slowly added. Good luck stay safe, and you will reach your goals.

          How does the area feel when you touch it? how could you tell it was a 'deep' bruise?

                  I just looked at it and some of the bruising has gone away and now the bruising is thinner and looks like it could be veins from were I was circumcised up to the glans just on the right side just like one vein that branches off three ways

                    Sounds like you broke a vein and is repairing itself. If you exercise too quickly afterwards it will simply rebreak again. Not serious, just give it time. Also, even at an erection level of 40% to 60% you can realize very nice girth gains. My suggested starting point is where your unit just starts to rise from the influx of blood, but still easily bendable.

                      I get similar symptoms if I jelq at too high an erection level.

                      It only takes a few strokes, slightly too hard, at slightly too high an erection level to start them off.

                      Took a week off, all good now.

                        Jelqing Injury

                        Alright so i got too ambitious and I jelqed at about 80-90% erect and did so for three days straight with and hour of light extending. I only did 50 jelqs each day but after a couple of day I noticed some bruising and a very slight ache under the glans on the right side of my shaft above the circumcision line. There is also light swelling in a circle almost. I masturbated a few time the first week and I could tell it was irritating the injury so I haven't touched it in about 4 days and I really don't see much of a difference. The masturbating definitely prolonged the process but I think it is a vessel that broke. I read some where that very light jelqing and ibuprofen could help this go away. Anybody have any experience with this?

                          I wouldn't touch it other than to pee until it heals completely. If it gets worse, or if it doesn't seem to improve at all within 10-14 days, I'd see a doctor. Keep that erection level lower in the future when jelqing.

                              Ibuprofen will relieve some of the discomfort, but just leave your junk alone for a few days until the swelling and soreness has subsided. Then, don't over train again! Lesson learned?
