Hey guys,
First thread but I've been reading this forum for the longest time. (years)
I have suffered the "torn fascia" ordeal and the full rupture took the toll of roughly 5 years. My penis had the hourglass shape as of 3 days ago. I wanted to share what I believe is the difference between HF and torn buck's fascia because I see people bickering back and fourth about what it really is and how to fix it.
Torn buck's fascia resembles HF because when the fascia is torn, the blood escapes the corpus cavernosum (CC) leaving it drained and hardened. Hard flaccid is when there is a limited amount of blood that goes into the CC, leaving it drained and hardened. The problem arises is when people claim that a hardened CC can all be fixed by strectching and relaxation, which will help blood flow into the CC.
I used to try jelqing, but I never realized when my penis was injured, I just thought the curve in my penis was just how it naturally is. When I torn my fascia, it was only torn on the left side so only the left side was indented. Now that was years ago.
Fast forward to the present after I read HF Unraveled and the theories of torn fascia. I believed my torn fascia was Obitoo's explaination of HF, so I started stretching. Three days ago, I was doing garland pose focusing on opening my pelvic region, I stood up and looked down at my penis because it felt weird. The right side of my penis had an identical indentation at the same length of the left side. It all made sense to me when that happened, stretching my groin pulled on the already torn fascia into a full tear. My buck's fascia is tightly wrapped around the CC at the indentation currently and the region below the indentation doesn't fill the CC with blood, but rather balloons the penis with blood that escaped the CC.
My goal of this thread is to separate the confusion with HF and TBF. With HF, you would have a constant hard, cold flaccid, but with TBF, you have a hard flaccid that still feels plump, almost like a jelly-like flaccid penis with a hard "core".
I know the tear can heal IF IT IS NOT A FULL TEAR. I did a discipline regime where I did not touch my penis or look at provocative images at all during the time of my half tear. Roughly 3 weeks of that and my penis was back to normal, in the sense that it started to stand up by itself, strong, and full. I messed up by masturbating by the next day, which probably ripped the tear again. I saw somewhere that fascia needs about 3 months of rest to fully heal to near intact strength, but if there is a full hourglass shape of the penis (which indicates a full tear) surgery would probably be the only option.
My main takeaways:
1. HF and TBF needs to be separated into two different problems.
2. Indentations of the penis is either caused by a ripped fascia or Peyronie's.
3. A partially torn fascia can heal by itself by not touching it, avoiding erections, and cold showers to shrink the space between the tear. (what I did during the discipline regime)
Please do not try to treat everyone with stretching/yoga unless they know FOR SURE they have HF, relaxation definitely helps though. Remember, the MAIN difference between HF and TBF is the quality of the flaccid: Is the whole penis cold and hard while flaccid (HF) or is it jelly-like with a hard core (TBF)?
Please put this somewhere where many people can see it. I wish I saw this before fully tearing mine, would have been healing/healed by now... The misinformation is what caused me to take incorrect action. Jelqing during puberty is probably what causes the tear because the fascia is already stretching from your growth spurt, manual stretching could overdo it. You should probably be 21 or older before trying this jelqing stuff to give the fascia a good amount of time to repair from the growth spurt. I mean... don't you think it's more than a coincidence that only people who try this PE stuff get torn fascia?
By the way: there is a pornstar by the name of "Rocney Dangerfield" and it looks like he has the same exact issue of torn fascia (torn at the base). I guess it is still possible to have a good sex life after this tear, but you need things like cock rings and whatnot to keep an erection going.
