I got this email on Tues...Thank you for your purchase. Your order has been processed and added to the shipping queue. It seems that there's a backlog of orders from the Black Friday rush and orders are going out a bit slower than normal.

I apologize for the late response. We are dealing with backorders due to the Black Friday sale. We are currently waiting for the latest sea cargo to be delivered to the warehouse. It has landed in San Francisco and is expected to be in Detroit by 12th December, it will then be forwarded to us for stocking on the shelves. It looks like it will take 7-10 days before we can ship out the backorders… sorry about that. At this point we will have effectively eliminated any chance for this sort of problem to happen in the future.
Regarding the $20 shipping fees; This is for the Corkscrew orders only as they are quite heavy to ship. We actually lose money on the larger sizes with the postage alone. However, we also pay for the sea cargo, shipping agents, customs, freight forwarding, warehousing, processing fees, etc. Cost of doing business these days is not getting any cheaper so I hope you can understand that we are doing out best.
For those who missed the Black Friday promotion, we have reactivated the code “BFRI20” for a 20% discount until the new inventory is stocked

Does anyone have experience with letting the corkscrew hang? If so what was your starting regimen?
I attempted to use the corkscrew as a hanging device while sitting on the edge of my chair yesterday and I could only handle about 8 minutes before circulation was an issue. Do you think this is good for replacing stretching?

Persiah,
Initially, you may need to experiment to find the optimum set-up that works for you. I suggest tightening the coils along the entire shaft rather than just behind the glans to help distribute the load of weight to reduce fatigue from occurring in that location and see of that alleviates your discomfort.
If you find that the size and weight of the corkscrew is simply too much you can also remove coils one at a time with a box cutter. Included in the kit is a PVC end cap to seal the wire after cutting. For example, I have removed 3 coils from my D24 for a lighter/smaller profile that is easier to put on and wear for longer periods of time and rely more on the mechanical forces of extension when moving out and around... see album in profile.
However, for straight down hanging while sitting I can easily sit all day with the full size D24. In this case, I recommend removing after about 3 hours to massage and rest for 10-15 minutes before resuming again. This would depend on your personal fatigue limits. Mind you, we have had feedback for a user who has worn his larger sized Corkscrew for more 30 continuous hours... so again its all about experimenting with close attention to the body sensations to make the necessary adjustments required to find the optimum set-up.

I was actually just thinking that, about cutting another link or two off and tightening the whole coil. I experience severe turtling (which is why I bought this), and my glans are smaller than average so I was having to make the last two coils very tight to prevent slippage.
Another question: do you find that standing or sitting make any difference on growth rate? I'm wondering if sitting at my desk is slowing the process since I'm naturally more "loose" in the seated position.

Persiah,
You must experiment to find the optimum set-up so you want to make sure you test all the variables with the full coil. If you feel a shorter coil would work better for you then proceed to cut off one at a time and test for a few days before removing another.
Standing or sitting will have different effects which would be influenced for example, by clothing or if there is any support of the chair that limits full extension when sitting etc. Again this would require careful attention to your body feedback signals with adjustments to your set-up in a process of fining tuning for the best performance.
There is a lot of latitude for adjustment with respect to the tension of the coils grip setting along the entire shaft.
