Traction wrap questions

Hi, I have been doing the traction wrap for a while now, however I was doing it just to prevent turtling. I was doing this prior to performing any exercises.

My question:

Is it okay to have the traction wrap on all day and stop at night

Another question, I think this is a no brainer...BUT...if the head of your penis starts to purple and enlarge because of no circulation....THIS IS BAD RIGHT? prevent this at all cost by making sure wrap is not too tight?

Traction wrap is ok to have on all day and stopping at night, and yes if your penis is purple then take it off immediately. That is very very bad. Put your traction wrap on and then pee, if you can't pee like how you normally do then it is too tight. If you start to get hard, loosen it up and re-wrap it.

Thank you very much for the reply. I use to take off the wrap when I pee, however now I just pee with it on, it is definitely tighter than normal but I just push harder. For traction wrap I cut up a t-shirt, roughly 3" x 5", wrap it around my flaccid and use hockey tape to secure it.

Im not really sure if any other wraps will be the same because alot of the times the penis will still slip out of the wrap, depending if I bend over, driving, etc.

If there are any other wrapping material that has worked for someone out there, please recommend it to me...I dont feel too comfortable using t-shirt and hockey tape...the pressure is not constant...sometimes I find myself RUSHING to the washroom because of major swelling and DARK purple on the head due to circulation cutoff. I definitely get very frighten when this happens...i THINK you can wonder why..

Another question, when doing traction wrap, is it normal for the tip of the penis to be somewhat cold.

No problem. I would say you're overdoing it, the point of traction wrapping and wearing it throughout the day is to keep blood flowing evenly through the penis, if it goes cold, too tight. Take a look at getting some What A Grip, I've heard that its one of the best things to use as anti-turtle and traction wrap. I've ordered it myself and will be getting it shortly.
I wouldn't want a purple penis unless I was Barney so I hear what you're saying man. The tricky thing with tape is that it is too easy to wrap it tightly, I do it all the time for football. But the trick is that even if you don't feel as if it is tight then it might be just right. Don't overdo it.
Are you currently PE'ing or just traction wrap?

What is Grip is a wrap? could you provide me with more info on this, also its very hard to imagine a wrap that could possibly work because depending on your motions throughout the day the penis seems to always want to turtle, even when I wrap it sometimes i think its too tight but it comes off anyway...

What A Grip is a cylender grip thing. And the penis wants to turtle but if you wrap properly it won't from what I heard, if you wrap it looser then you usually do and your dick still manages to turtle then just go to the bathroom and pull it on out again, I did that a couple days ago.
I'm going to be posting pictures of What a Grip in my progress log later tonight, you might want to check them out if you're interested in what a grip. I'm going to be wearing the what a grip tomorrow throughout the day and see how it goes.

The What A Grip doesn't keep me as stretched out as regular traction wrap but it does keep me in an extended flaccid state.
I also noticed when I traction wrapped my penis would be stuck pointing straight out, but the what a grip gives it flexibility to hang low, which I like.

Im starting to use a self sticking sports bandage, quite stretchy, I still cannot do this without making the head of my penis cold. Am i doing something wrong? I mean its gotta be a bit tight in order for the turtling to not occur, but as soon as u make it tight the head gets cold...not TOO cold but definintely noticeable from normal. I could not find "what a grip" and seeing what it looks like on the internet Im very skeptical as to weather it will work, almost seems like i have too much foreskin so cannot wrap it right...

when im using the wrap, do I put the foreskin back to begin?

I've noticed from my own experience with traction wrapping that my head also gets cold, but after so long it gets warm again. I'm not sure why but after it warms up then it stays warm for the duration of. Does that happen with you too?
And as far as the foreskin question goes, I do not know because I am cut. Ask calixto because he knows a lot about foreskin and whatnot.
