Extender users: Slippage Question

I bought one of the generic (size doctor Le Luv) versions of the Extender on Ebay, one that uses the rubber/silicone tubing to hold the penis at the end through the holes and clips under the plastic end piece. . Recently the tubing has begun slipping through the device holders to the point where it doesn't even hold the penis securely anymore and is falling off in minutes. I have cleaned the tubing as well to make sure it is clean of skin oils but am wondering if anyone else has this issue? Is it the tubes need to be replaced every couple months? Or is it the actual plastic "grips" just wear out? I am just starting to get regular after a three week lay off and the device is pretty useless at this point until I figure this out.

You may need to try a new tube/noose.
Some users have tried using Bulldog paper clips to lock the tubes down.
Or, if you feel adventurous, you could try to add some kind of friction in the clips. Talcum powder? Superglue some sand particles ? Heat the plastic and make the clips tighter ? Tie knots in the noose tube ? Experiment with velcro strips ?
Being able to get spare parts that fit is always nice.

Thanks Dangler. I did discover right after posting a cheap alternative: a piece of a papertowell. I just took a 2 inch square piece and as I pulled the tubing, placed the paper across the clips and then pressed the tubing into the clips. The towell actually holds it in there better than they did initially where there was even a tiny bit of slippage. Guess considering these devices are not perfect it will do for the time being so thanks for the other ideas.

I know Calixto uses gauze and gets a head swell and wraps it with the gauze before strapping in. Not sure if that will help you out as well.

Wow thanks squid I will be sure to try the paper towel trick you did tonight...I posted this same question about a month ago and got no feedback, I got an extra silicone strap with my extender (same one as yours) and switched to that one and it worked..so I do think the straps need to be replace every month or two, I don't think it is the plastic part.

I checked for straps online and they were running at 10 bucks a piece...so i'll be tryin this paper towel thing and hope I can get by on that.
