  • Need pumping advice!

So im on the verge of finally buying a pump. I'm really interested in pumping for a temporary increase in girth before sexual encounters to help with my confidence. I'm only 4.6-4.7 mid shaft girth.
    Some questions...

Which pump should I buy at 6.9 bpel / 4.6 mid shaft girth?

How much of a girth increase can I expect immediately?

How can I completely avoid discoloration I read about?

Do the bathmates not have an hg Guage?

What beginner routine should I follow?

I bought the LAPump and really like it. I haven't measured, but its made a difference and my wife has noticed. Still, I'm going to incorporate the uli into my exercise toolbox.
Also, the LeLuv cylinders work with the LAPump, pump, and are like a third the price.
Think about what size cylinder to get. I got one that isn;t that much bigger than my erect girth and I started filling up the tube girth-wise pretty fast. Then I got one two sizes up and its too big.
The LeLuv cylinders are inexpensive enough that you can get one, I'd say a 1/4" bigger in diameter than you erect girth, and then get another larger one once you're filling up the tube. This is my opinion, so more experienced people can please chime in.

There are advantages to the water-pumps. Things like being able to use warm water to aid in bloodflow, relaxation, and recovery are a bonus.
The normal HydroMax does not have a gauge, no. It doesn't use a vacuum-pump or bulb, it uses spring force from the bellows.
I haven't tried the HydroMax itself yet, and am only a few days into using a cheapo vacuum-style pump, but thus far I'm seeing a difference. The big thing you need to be careful of, especially with vacuum ones, is not over-doing it. More is not necessarily better here. If you push it too far or too hard, you can do some damage that will take time to heal from. Don't let that discourage you from trying, but let it stick in your mind so as to not push too far.

As for discoloration, thus far the extent of it has been a temporary darkening, much like with clamping. No splotching, streaking, or spots thus far for me.

Buy a hydromax x30 or a LeLuv pump, and start jelqing or doing squeezes. The discoloration isn't really that bad, your unit might get slightly darker but who cares. Start pumping 5 minutes, and work up to 20 minutes or so (this will take many months). Pump 5 days a week. My guess is your dick will be 1/2" thicker when you pull it out of the pump.

Check out the major on line warehouse. You should be able to buy a LeLuv pumping system with a 1.75” cylinder and vacuum gauge for under $90.

I've read a few posts online that worry me a bit. Some comments about pumping causing venous leak/damaging the valve system in your penis. Any truth to any of this? I've pumped a few times 5 hg for 15 mins and I already love it but venous leak is Def not something I want to risk.

Sorry, I can’t help. I had diabetes induced ED before I started pumping. I did read somewhere that pumping draws in 60% of the blood from your arteries leading into the chambers and 40% back through the veneous valves. It is possible that the reverse flow can affect the valves, but if you do not pump up quickly, I don’t believe it would cause any significant damage.

hopefully, other pumpers can chime in with their experience.

Thanks for your input but I really hope more people can chime in on this because I'm having quite a bit of anxiety over using it.

Man, I don't know about you but 5"hg would be way too much for me as early on as I am. 4 is fairly uncomfortable for long for me.
I'm far from a pumping expert but I'd say conditioning with easing into it is probably the safest bet. I've had good results from 15 minutes even at 1.5"hg.

I know you're worried about pleasing the girl you are seeing. I get it. I've had many times where I've wondered if I'm enough in the past- even after leaving my wife a quivering gasping squirming mess (please don't read that as a brag, it doesn't happen often and that isn't the point) I've seriously questioned if I'm good enough, big enough, etc even with the rather obvious evidence in front of me.

For the sake of your health and strength moving forward, try not to overdo it.
Your lady already gave you high praise- try to remind yourself of it, even when you doubt.

I get how pumping could potentially damage your penis. Too high pressure pulling too much blood and fluid into your veins. I know I will not do this. What I do not understand is all this valve and out flow talk.

I thought clamping was the most risky exercise and I was pretty comfortable with it but now it seems like pumping is the most risky. Seems like a big mystery what is actually happening and doesn't seem like anyone really knows if it's causing irreversible damage or not.

Not really sure what to do at this point. It's causing me bad anxiety because I want to pump so bad but constantly worried ill ruin my penis permanently and I assure you if that happens my life is over.

I recently brought a penis pump, but now I'm having the same anxiety lol. My gut feeling tells me that if you pump sensibly, within the 1-5hg range, it'll be ok!

Pumping is one of the safest exercises if you do it properly. The max recommended pressure for an airpump is 5hg while its 12hg for the bathmate. however ive seen plently of people going beyond this and doing it for much longer than the recommended 20 minutes, but they all worked their way up slowly - thats the key.
