Something I noticed with my vacuum hanger is the included silicone sleeve began to become less elastic and less snug after weeks of use (1.5-2 hours of hanging per day). If you experience this, you can rejuvenate the sleeve by boiling some water (I microwaved a bowl for four minutes) and dipping the sleeve in it for 30 seconds. Then, transfer the sleeve to cold water to shrink it. You may want to repeat this a couple more times. It will restore the elasticity of your silicone sleeve and extend its life.

Great, may have to try it. Those sleeves get very expensive.

I've been making my own sleeves to reduces costs as shipping, taxes and cost increased each time I bought a new sleeve.

I'll try to describe the process in a straight forward was with pictures, but at this time I have something important I have to do. I will say that making the mold from a non reactive material is the most difficult part, I chose to make a split mold out of acrylic. If you are not good at fabricating things it will probably not be practical for you to attempt this process. Since I'm only making sleeves for personal use, what I did works well for me and keeps me supplied with a couple spares all the time. There is an individual on Thunder's that detailed how he makes his, and is a good starting point for what is involved, making good quality sleeves for yourself is a little more involved that what is described there.

I've started adding pictures on the mold I made and will take pictures of the process of making the sleeve tomorrow.

Theres a diy on YouTube for penis sleeves. All materials at lowes or home depot. Except u will need to buy silicone from craft store or order online. Recommend using the softest silicone grade, no harder than a 10 on silicone softness scale. But the shrinking idea is pretty interesting. Will definately try that.

I'm assuming I saw the video you are referring to, long pvc pipes for the mold, duct tape and etc. I'm very confident that his sleeves will have a lot of bubbles in his sleeve(s) which weaken the sleeve and can cause leaks.
Rubbers use hardness scales: Shore 00, Shore A, Shore D.
- Shore 00: 00-0 to 00-100
- Shore A: 10A to 100A
- Shore D: 10D to 100D
When I bought platinum cured silicone mix from my local Tap Plastics (I buy the acrylic supplies from them) it was Shore 10(A). The silicone was too hard for use as enlargement sleeves, eventually I settled on Shore 00-30 platinum cure silicone I ordered online.
During the curing process any bubbles in the mix will try to rise to the top of the mold. The mix is very viscous and the bubbles rise to the top very slowly; a fast cure silicone will not give the bubbles enough time to escape the mixture and a very long mold requires a lot of time.
Degassing the mixture after the two parts have been combined and mixed, completely removes the bubbles but pouring the mix into the mold can introduce new bubbles that need time to escape the curing mixture.Sir Bedevere: ...and that, my liege, is how we know the Earth to be banana shaped.
