As the tension get higher and further up the extender, supplied rods no longer work properly. I truly wonder why they didn't make it threaded all the way. Now I've been looking online all day, but I don't really know the name of said threaded rods.
As marked in red, the screws gets stuck in there and needs force to get onto the threads on next rod section.
I'd appreciate any help.

No links please.
I suggest you take that part to a local hardware store & see if they have something that would be suitable. If asked what is it for, just say a repair fixture you are inventing.
An alternative is to begin researching alternative products, and select a product that offers spare parts and support. Do yourself a BIG favor, and improve your Extender knowledge, keeping an eye on what offers comfort. Spend wisely.Valued Member of 10 years at the PEGym

It's actually fairly comfortable and sturdy for it's price, tho it's modified. Anyways I'll check some local stores, suppose I could do the small threading myself.

Though quite expensive, VacExtender offers spare rods. You might try ordering the least expensive piece and see if it is compatible with your rods.

McMaster Carr sells 6mm threaded rod, both steel & stainless.
We switched over to stainless for our extender rods. It's much straighter and will never rust.
P/N 90024A461 = $17.29 + shipping. You'll need a hack saw to cut to desired length, and a file or belt sander to deburr and chamfer ends.
We will sell you a set too... let us know how long you want them to be.
