Should I buy the lg hanger with the weight arbor or without it. I would rather not spend the extra $150 but if it will make this journey easier then I’m all for it

Its your personal choice.
His weight arbor is a loading pin used in gym and weights can be found cheaper for under $50. His prices are expensive as he cuts his own plates.

Our arbor is aluminum. We have a limited amount of plate weight in low pound increments @ 1.25 lbs and 2.5 lbs.
We buy our plate weight online from Walmart (China). Because of the virus issues there is no more plate weight in those increments available. There are no domestic sources, all the athletic stores are empty too. So we lasered out our own plates. Sure our stuff is more expensive, we can't compete with communist China slave labor.
