    Hey,
    It's been a while since I've been on here. I realized I'm being limited in weight using the 3M Microfoam tape. What happens is when I go above 9lbs with my vacuum hanger, sometimes a little sliver of the glands gets exposed between one of the outer strips of tape and the main thick piece I use in the center. Pretty much every time this happens, it's almost a guarantee that a blister will form if hanging isn't stopped right away. The reason this happens it seems is moisture that forms under the cap over time, so by the end of the routine the adhesive material under the tape starts to peel off. Can anyone share a better method of taping that won't allow cracks to form between strips of tape at higher weights? Should I just switch to a silicone cap and give up on the tape altogether or can you combine the two methods of protection? I know I should be staying around 9 lbs and just adding in another hour set per day or something, but I feel like if it wasn't for vacuum friction I can probably add another 2 lbs or so, it's awesome how strong you get in a short amount of time! I can also add that I had to take about 8 months off (moving, all the COVID-19 stuff) and can still hang 9 pounds like nothing, but I'll probably start slow because of this same limiting friction factor. Edit: this hanger, the "cheap" vacuum one that everyone knows actually comes with a cap, I may give it a try if it fits!

    In ten years of doing PE and vacuum weight hanging I've tried every imaginable method of glans protection!
    For me the best method is one piece of microfoam tape about 2" long across the front of your glans lengthwise with your penis. Then 7-8" of Tender wrap around it, starting about 1" below glans, wrap on time around and then continue the wrap in a spiral fashion like you would wrap a baseball bat handle. Allow about 1/2" to go beyond the length of your penis, pinch and fold over and then squeeze to mold to the shape of your penis. Wrap should be fairly snug, but not tight.

    Our blue Tender Wrap is the best! You won't find it in any store. We buy directly from the manufacturer in bulk. They won't sell to non-commercial accounts.

    Thanks for sharing, I totally forgot about the tender tape I was reading about that a few years ago when I started. It's possible wrapping that area below the glands would help prevent the "swelling skin" or whatever happens sometimes when I come out of the dome, usually it doesn't happen anymore but sometimes the skin gets scrunched up without you knowing it during a set and when the session is over it looks terrible and you have to work it all out!
