  • Hours Per Day for Extender?

I've been using a rod and spring extender on and off for a while now. I came across the problem of being unable to wear it in any position other than lying down. This could be the movement of my fat pad, but I do know the tube holding my glans in place will slip off if I change positions from lying, sitting, and standing.

I was under the impression that one only had to use an extender for at least an hour at a time for results. I keep seeing 4 hours or more is the way to go. If it is, then how do y'all keep extenders on without lying around for 4 hours? Thanks!

Your extender may not be fitting right. Tube too big? What kind to you have?

Many extender makers and clinicians say you need to have it on over an hour at a time and 4,5,6 or more hours a day to get good results. RestoreX claims good results at 60-90 minutes a day, in 30 minute sessions. When I had my X4 extender, it had to be strapped on pretty tight, but I could usually go for 1.5 hours sitting, standing or walking around before I needed to take it off for a break. Getting in my goal of 5 hours a day was a challenge. I switched to a Penimaster Pro and can easily go 2-3 hours and sit, stand, walk around. I'm getting in more than my 5 hour goal pretty easily on average. The reason I take it off is usually because I have some kind of interruption, not because it's uncomfortable.

One thing I have to be really careful of, especially with the x4, is changing position and the rod pushes in and pinches my nut sack. Hurts like a mother. So, when I change position, I sometimes hold the extender until I get resituated. With my PMP, I started slipping out after a while or when I moved abruptly. My bad, as I hadn't changed the sluice for months. I changed the sluice and problem gone. Sounds like you need to figure a better way to get yours on, get a smaller tube, or try a different brand.

This is a common problem with extenders that use a strap or noose for securing the penis.
You either need to reduce tension, or strap down harder.
      The latter is painful.
I have the Quick Extender Pro.
I converted it into a vacuum held extender.
Vac Extender has a conversion kit complete with a bell and all.
I am looking into this, but at the time, am using a cheap blue bell and quality sleeves from LG Hanger.
I attached the bell to the extender cradle with a large snap I got from my tackle box.
The result is a way more comfortable, more secure.
You will need to make sure you don’t overdo the tension now.
Ebay has the cheap stuff available. Look up Phallosan.
If you can afford it, check out the VacExtender site.
      Stay safe and enjoy!

It is a generic "premium rod extender" from Amazon. Can't find the specific brand. Upgraded the noose a while back, but yeah, without a vac seal, it's almost sure to slip while moving. I think I'll at least reduce the tension, and try again. If that doesn't work, I'll wait until I can use it with the rings extender. I might be able to switch entirely to the rings extender if it works well.

Hmm. In waiting for my Quick Extender Pro to arrive.
After reading a few threads it seems I should've bought a vacuum stretcher. Does anyone know if the QEP is still an effective device to start out with? Is slippage usualy a problem with these too?
I've read alot of good threads about extenders in general but am curious to hear from people who have used the QEP.

Sorry, don't use a QEP, but I imagine a user will come along as they are popular. In the meantime: When I bought my X4, I was torn between it or the QEP after doing a bunch of research on extenders. Loads of guys on here swore by their QEPs. My X4 worked on the same premise and I got most of my gains using the X4 (bought the PMP more recently). As much as I liked the X4, I am glad I switched to a vacuum mount device, but it cost a load more than what a QEP costs. If you're really worried about slippage and want to go for a vacuum mount device, can you cancel your QEP order or return it if the box is unopened? If not, give it a try and you could end up happy with it like the other guys.

I reduced the length of the rods by 1cm and still got good tension. This has corrected the problem of slipping from changes in position.

When I first got this extender, I was gungho about adding on as much length to the rods as quickly as possible. I thought the more it stretched, the better. This probably saw temporary gains from tunica/ligaments stretching, but was not enough time under tension for permanent gains in cell division.

I have used the Quick Extender Pro for about 3 months had great gains(about a half inch). My only problem was the numbness of my glands and eventually my testicle started to burn no matter what I tried. Ended up buying a vacuum/bell Extender wow what a deference. But to answer your question the Quick Extender Pro works great. When using your Extender try using a baby's sock(newborn) with the end cut off placed over the glands sure takes some of the pressure off. Got this from the Burrito. It works.

Noose extenders like QEP can be comfy and safe by having a correct padding.

You need to wear an extender 6-8 hrs / day for best results. I do not suggest to start with RestoreX, it is akin to starting with hanging due to the amount of tension it produces. Both hanging and restoreX works, sure, but then i doubt you will be able to gain with an extender.

I'd say first get your extender gains for half a year to a year and then move on to light hanging+ads.

You have to find YOUR personal "sweet spot".
For some people 3 hours offer fast nice gains and when they are upping the hours, the gains are comming into a halt.
For some people gains start only after using it for at least 6h/day.
The same applies for the tension.

My goal is to hit 40 hours per week with a strap/noose system ADS.

Slipping can be curbed by not cranking up the tension the first 20-30 minutes... allow your head to get bigger before getting into the tension you use to stretch.

I started using my cheap no-brand extender just over 3 years ago and I guess I've averaged about 2 hours a day. This is obviously an estimate and I have to consider the days where it's been 4 hours and the days when it was 0. I find that sometimes I put it on perfectly (no nipping/slippage) and on these occasions I could wear it much longer. Sometimes I need to remove it after an hour or so and put it back on, though sometimes the glans is a little tender and I need a short break, 20 minutes or so. I have perfected putting it on though - I'm uncircumcised and find that pulling the skin back right before I tighten the noose reduces the 'nipping' and makes for a more successful session.

i swapped from 7 hours from mon-fri to 4-5 hours mon-fri + 8 hours saturday-sunday, so i have more freedom in the weekdays. Will pump it up to 10, maybe 12 hours during the weekend
