Extend the break as long as possible just to be sure, but yes I think you can gain now as well, as its a different form of training

          12.5 lbs?
That's a significant amount of weight with a compression hanger.
IMO an extender is a low traction device, and is a complementary supplemental device to be used after hanging.
Can you continue to make gains with an extender? Only time will tell.

FYI - most extenders with the exception of ours, only generates 6 lbs. of traction. This is due to the small, weak springs used.

So I’ve noticed a nice flacid hang yesterday when I was off from the extender and it also felt thicker what does that mean?

That means you are on the right track and training is working

Hi, I actually have this exact same question. I recently started hanging but just 5lbs for 1-1/2 hrs 2x/day with the total man vacuum chamber. I'm in the process of ordering the lghanger so i can start progressing a bit safer.

But i think i left some progress on the table with an extender. I never did use it for very long hours at low tension. This is because i used RestoreX from the beginning which has higher tension, so I didn't think low tension would do much for me.

Was thinking of trying out extending for 3 months or so to see if i can get more gains at lower tensions and higher time before going back to hanging.

                  Any insights would be great.
