Thread: Cable Clamp vs. Air Clamp
- 09-16-2007 #1
Ster.john asked:
I remember Bib once told me the advantage/benefit of the Uli Thing actually lies in its greater surface area. This certainly allows one to gain full engorement with less of an erection, but it seems to me one runs a greater risk of the baseball bat effect, than with a hose or cable clamp, which are both considerably narrower. I always had trouble getting requisite engorgement with the cable clamps though.
In reference to the types of clamps, I've heard different things from different men. A lot of guys who couldn't get engorged with the cable clamp said that the air clamp helped by providing a better seal. Other men said the opposite: that the seal was worse.

Thanks, Remek.
According to my correspondences with the man himself, Bib actually gained his base girth (7.5 inches!) from hanging. From what I can gather, this is not an uncommon occurrence for many hangers.
Bib then used his Uli Thing device to gain girth above the base until the shaft was uniform or nearly so. He said, I believe, there is now only a slight disparity in the lower and upper circumferences--and inch or less, as I recall.

That's what I thought. He gained his base girth from hanging and then evened it out with the Uli thing.
