Thread: To hang or go manual?

Ok, I have completed the JP90 routine. I saw very good gains considering my consistency. I tried hanging the past two days and I must say I really like it. I didn't think i would but it is definitely something I am interested in. I think I enjoy hanging more and am more likely to stick with it. My question comes in about potential for growth.
Blink talks about 10-20lbs being an ideal growth range. I think I could do 10 but it sounds like the max I would want to hang from my most prized member. Some people do 45? OUCH.
So here is my proposed routine.
Warm up 10-15min
Hang following blinks routine of slowly increasing weight and sets. starting at 2.5lbs for three sets
Jelq immediately following the routine 50-100
end with ULI's 1-3 or 5-15min
The question comes if I hang at the low end of the weight spectrum, up to 10lbs, am I going to see reasonable gains? Or is hanging light going to toughen my penis and make gains more difficult. In short am I better off following a manual routine or adding hanging in as the lead role. My main goal is length gains.
Also what is thera band? Is it the stretchy rubber workout bands seen on google when you search thera band? Saiyan apears to be using something that looks more like ace bandage that he calls theraband.

Hey man. I honestly believe that you should fully exhaust your manual exercises before turning to devices. While I have no personal experience with hanging, I do know that once you start hanging, it will make going back to manual length exercises pretty much impossible. If you really think about it, it makes much more sense to gain all that you possibly can through stretching and jelqing and fully maximizing your gains before looking to hanging to help you. I believe it was Millia who I spoke with about hanging a few months back when I was considering it who pointed that out to me.
If you do actually begin hanging, you should contact blink before starting.....He is quite knowledgeable about the subject.

Same here. I was considering hanging not too long ago to try and help get over my length hump. I consulted Blink and he gave me some really good advice and things to consider. If you haven't already, read ALL of his articles on hanging - great stuff!!!

Yes Blink's material is extensive. I have spent hours studying his threads. I appreciate the advice and think I will follow it. Back to JP90 until I quit gaining. I have been so impressed with the gains I have made so far that I don't know why I would consider changing it.

Good call guys.
I really think that when guys are new to things, its common to want to "relate" things to each other.
The problem is, every type of PE is just strangely different. I mean lets examine a few.
Pumping
Manual Exercises
Extending
Hanging
These are all very different, but can be used in conjunction with each other. In fact I am currently back in the game, and I do all 4, PLUS I wear my DTR (foreskin restoration device whenever I am not engaged in PE efforts).
What I do is this:
Generally start off using my bathmate for a warmup.
Then I hang, at least 4 twenty-minute sets, I am new to hanging and this is only my 3rd week, so I am only using 7.5lbs. But with hanging you add a little each week, like a pound, or add time spent.
Then, I am now doing a system where I then slap on my extender for 30min between each set of hanging, so my penis STAYS in an "extended" state the whole time during hanging sets, since my "rest" period has now been converted to power-extender sets. I just started this a few days ago, and I will definitely be reporting on it.
Then once I am done with that for the day, I will wear my DTR (foreskin restoration ((FR)) device) until its about time to go to bed, then I pump for one or two LONG sets with LIGHT pressure, to really help pull out that inner penis, and I also purposeful induce some slight edema, because I have read that this can really help with the FR results, and it is safe to have some fluid buildup.
I wake the next day, wear the DTR until its time to hang, then I do it all over again. I don't pump EVERY night, but recently realized I don't need a full 48 hours in between pumping sessions.
