  • Clamping ? how many days?

    I am going for the Hang and clamp combo , I try and hang 6 days a week , should i clamp 6 days on as well 3 sets of 15min??
    and clamping results , How long till you see a difference ?and are the gains permanent ?

    Don't know how long you've been PE'ing, but try the clamping 101 article and REALLY listen to your dick.

      I agree with aidan784. Read the clamping 101 article.

      It suggests you start off with 1 day on 2 days off for clamping, and then progress towards 1 day on 1 day off. Definitely read the article though.

      Right now I'm running three sets of 5 minute clamp sessions on the 1 day on 2 day off schedule. I also found that using a silicone tube underneath your clamp instead of what the article suggests (mousepad, sock, etc...) is about 1000 times more comfortable.

        ive been clamping for a number of months now, and ive gained really well (and hopefully will continue to do so!) id say start light with it, 6 days will be too much to start off. As aidan said listen to your dick! When i started my eq suffered, then i rolled back the intensity/frequency. its def something you'll have to monitor.

        also, make sure you warm up effectively, i find when i dont warm up im much more likely to get red spots and i tire much easier without it as well.

        i saw an increase within the first 2 months if i remember. never hung, so i cant tell you anything about that. One thing ive noticed tho is that its very hard to gain both length AND girth at the same time... maybe hanging would change that tho, i dont know.

          I have been clamping for half a year or so now. I too would agree that 6 days on is too much, but like everybody has said; watch your PI's it if works, then do it. Some of the heavy clampers over at thunders suggest not taking a break while doing a girth routine because you'll have to "start all over again". Which is something I am testing out now. So even on days off I do 1-2 sets of 13 minutes just to not let my penis relax completely. Although for a guy starting with clamping you might want to build up to not taking breaks.

            thats an interesting approach actually uyn. You'd want to be careful not to pass that fine line where edema comes in to play tho.. I mean, you'd want to know your limit. The second you go over it, your going to need a few days off to recover. If you could find that balance tho, it would be ideal. I might take on that approach and see where it lands me. So did you find yourself doing less in your workouts, but more frequently? Or have you just gone hell for leather?

              I didn't quite understand this part. Also edema isn't a bad thing, it is noted as a neutral PI, which is exactly what I see it as; should be avoided if possible, but doesn't interfere. In the start I use to get some edema, but now it nearly never happens. So I guess my penis has become accustom to the exercises. It is worth noting however that when the edema was present during workouts was the time I had a jump in EG(4.5" to 4.75"), and that I had an amazing edema free flaccid the next day. And my EQ was great.

                ARB, check UYN's log to see his routine, I think he does around eight 13 minute sets on ON days.

                  hardcore uyn! i checked his log before. cheers. what i ment by that was do you find yourself doing a shorter workout, but do workouts more frequently, or do you just go mad and do long workouts every day

                  i always felt edema was a set back, not just neutral.. just my opinion. like if your getting edema, then your cock is expanding because of that, not blood. I feel its best if your getting blood expansion, not just any expansion. once edema is there then the only expansion you get is because of that fluid. could be wrong

                    Could be wrong, but also my theory could be wrong. I am just trying to figure out which is which by testing out Best way to explain it is by taking a look at my log, really :P Days on I do a lot of sets 7-10(some times more), while on days off I do some: 1-3(maybe more depending on what I feel like doing) to keep my penis in what I like to call "clamping shock", which was like I said a no rest thing. As hangers say "don't let it turtle"(or shrink), I will have to go for the "keep the your penis as expanded as possible". Due to the whole "If you rest your penis will start at level 0 again, but if you just back off a little for it to 'rest' you will not start at level 0".

                    I am not sure if this made any sense, but I hope so. Sorry for hijacking this guys thread. If you have any more questions, post them in my log.

                      I've recently stopped and haven't kept up, but I was clamping and hanging for about 2 weeks straight, everyday.

                      My routine started at 5 sets of 20 minute hangs, and in between each set I clamped for 10 minutes. So 5x5, but as the week progressed, I found that it was too time consuming, and I focused my time more so on going to the gym and finishing up school work. This 5x5 dropped to x4 for a couple more days, and subsequently has been 3x3 for quite a long time.

                      Also to note, if I had time during my 3x3, I would also do about 10 minutes of manual stretching or 20 minutes of high % jelqing, or even supra slammers! The workout was intense and amazing. My PI's were morning erections everyday that woke me up with an EQ of 10. Throughout the day I would get erections as well, but when it came to doing my 3x3, after hanging, it was a bit more difficult getting an erection while using porn. Since I was able to pop hard erections all day, I just attributed this low EQ to my disinterest of porn and the fatigue from hanging. It would take me 10-20 seconds of focused stimulation to get my EQ to about a 9, and once the clamp went on, POW EQ 10 and stimulating continued.

                      It has been about 1.5 weeks since I have done any PE work, but some PIs I have noticed still, morning wood everyday =)
