more time does not produce gains. I started gaining when I began taking a day off between sessions. Also warming up and stretching before going into the tube helps. I have gained .5 inch in base girth after one year with Bathmate.

I think the easiest thing is to get the air out first. Fill it with water, then covering the opening with your hand, turn it upright. The air that was caught in the bellows will come out, you can then re-invert it and re-fill. That way, when you stick your dick in, there will be virtually no air.

I just bought the hydromax and i have some questions that i cant seem to find some answers too. I used it as recommended. My penis expanded, but i dont know how many pumps exactly to do. Here are my concerns and questions:
1. How may pumps should i do?
2. If its not a set # of pumps, do i pump till my penis is fully erect, and how do i tell?
3. Every time i have used i have felt some uncomfortably, is this normal or am i just overthinking it?
4. How many millimeters minimum should one reach, well for a beginner?
5. Is it normal for my penis head to be blue after a 5 minute session and then regain normal color after a minute or 2 of massaging.
6. Is there anyone who has a video tutorial using a hydromax x20 that i can learn from?

Less than a year(9 months)and a full half inch gain. I also do a ton of edging.

1. There are no set number of pumps. You pump until you feel the pressure but don't pump to where it hurts. Experiment a bit and take it slow
2. Your session time should not start until you are fully erect in the tube
3. Feeling a little discomfort when you just start out is normal, but if it is pain, then you need to back off a bit. Are you experiencing gator bite? If so, using the comfort sleeve will help. I still use this as I HATE gator bite.
4. It is difficult to say how many mm you should reach as it all depends on what size you are to begin with, and how much flexibility there is in your penis. Warm up using either a very warm hand cloth or a heating pad for 6 to 8 minutes and stretch before doing your BM session
5. Since you are just starting out it is a little normal for your glans to turn a deep red / purple or bluish color as you are forcing a LOT of blood into the head of your penis which you are not used to doing. Going for 5 minutes and then pulling out for a massage then going back in for 5 minutes is a good way to start, also make sure that you take a rest day or two in between sessions. It is very important to listen to your body, as you do if you lift weights.
6. I think you can google videos on using the bathmate.

Ok, thank you for your response. I believe i am experiencing gator bite. I will use some lubrication, also i would like to know is am i suppose to be able to feel my erection, because i cant so far. Is there suppose to be a certain position specifically for it to be in?

If you have the comfort insert, use it as it helps. The lube doesnt do as much to stop the bite, at least it hasn't for me so I continue to use the insert. As far as feeling your erection while pumping, that is difficult as you are forcing a LOT of additional fluid into your penis during the session and you actually may lose a little sensation which is normal (at least I know that I do) and then I usually maintain the fullness and hang for a bit after my session.
Make sure you do a proper warm up and warm down as well. This helps with your progress as well as your recovery.Start 08/15/15 (measurements using bathmate measuring device)

i have been using the insert, every time. I cant seem to figure out what the problem is as i do a proper warm-up. I am just going to keep trying and taking it easy until i figure things out. Thanks for the input.

Hello guys, new here to these forums and doing a lot of reading, very good info here, so first I want to thank everyone here..
Kinda decided to get a bathmate but I'm having a little trouble figuring out what size bathmate to get. I followed the measuring instructions and im BPEL : 6.88" EG: 5.19"
So should I go with x30 or x40?
My goal is probably to be about BPEL: 7.5" ish EG 6-6.5"
What do you guys recommend to get? Or what are you guys using?
