views on clamps

hey guys, so i recently increased my weight on my hanging sessins and decided i needed to start clamping my hanger, i ordered a pack of clamps and this the type that arrived, the shape is a little odd i know, and upon double checking the clamp differs to those commonly used. however, i decided to give it a go ad discovered its actualy really grippy and also very comfortable. the positioning is a little awekward at times as the lower bulge seems to be very good for griping the underside of the shaft.

anyway, i just thought id share and see what everyone elses views are on this type of clamp?
