Thread: hanging = extending?

So my question is, are hanging and extending doing the same thing? If so, is 1 1/2 hours of hanging equal the same hours extending, or is 1 1/2 hour hanging more like 4 hours extending? Has anyone done both at the same time?

I get that maybe the extender is not targeting the ligaments, but doesnt the hanging also have an element of traction to it? Same as extending?

Extenders work by promoting cell growth via low force stretching over a long period of time. Hanging doesn't do that; it works more like manual stretches than extenders.

If your well conditioned close to a year, hanging is pretty hardcore. Chances are hanging and extending in the same day will fatigue yourself and slow down gains. But depends on your hanging weight also. I'd think it would be better to extend the the rest of the day use an ads

I've wondered the same thing. So extending doesn't really target the ligaments it promotes cell growth? I want an extender and I've seen so many testimonials saying they work, but I'm still a little skeptical because I see things like this:

I guess if I'm skeptical towards extending because of this, I should be skeptical of PE in general. Skepticism isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it's really hard not to believe in something you want so badly to be true lol I've heard reasons why statements like this are BS, but I can't remember them. I'm interested in them too, but don't know much about it. They look quite cumbersome to wear underneath clothes. I think it would be useful to wear after hanging, but only enough to keep the penis a bit longer than normal so it can heal in that elongated position.
There was a fellow who told us of his penis extension operation, and the doctor prescribed post op exactly this. It was caled "The Grip" and it's basically hanging in the morning and extender/ADS during the day.

They work if you put in the time, its a slow process but the more time under tension the faster the gains. It works like the tribes the stretch there necks and ear lobes and lips. Traction devices are used to lengthen arms and legs as well. You will have to find out for yourself. Good luckStart Feb 01 2011
