Getting Male Edge. Done with ebay extender.

Well, it seems my ebay extender finally gave in after almost two months.
1) The rotating wheel socket broke so the bar kept falling out
2) Once it fell apart and the spring sprang out, had to buy another spring.......couldn't find the other one.
3) Yesterday I was tightening the strap and the cradle snapped in two......THE END

I've been researching and I'm looking into the Male Edge mainly because it seems you can lock in the strap tightly and then hook it up to the base. Something I couldn't do with the ebay one. It was a constant annoyance. It also doesn't use springs and looks like it was made solidly.

I'd like to hear other peoples opinion because it doesn't seem like one of the top choices as extenders.

Hey bizkid, I use the male edge, I can't compare it with other extenders, for that's the only one I'v used, I do not like the strap, it is a constant
struggle for me to get in and find a decent fit, as far as numbness and getting cold is an issue for me after an hour or so, but i have no issue slipping out or anything, like i hear some guys saying about other extenders, tension is really good, it's made of hard plastic, with springs in the bars, I'v read about male edge extenders breaking, but i think if you take your time and only move the bars up and down, so NOT sideways, it will not break, but maybe there are better ones out there, so take a look around and ask about other extenders, or take advise from users who have more experience with different extenders, either way... good luck man

i'd actually recommend a noose one instead of a "comfort strap" one, i have an x4 labs and it lets me use either and nose is definitely better imo

I have read a few posts about the male edge extenders falling apart. I would get an x4.
