    Exactly! The shoulders are formed when you pull your hanger forward toward your glans when you begin tightening the hanger.

    I also just figured out it's spelled glans, and not glance.

    Damn it, I think I'm getting numbness in the glans when I'm not hanging. The thing is, since I'm circumcised I'm not sure if I wasn't this numb already. Just started thinking about it now coz I just started hanging... I'm not sure what to do now, take a break from hanging even though nothing may have changed? I never had any pain while hanging so far but I did feel some numbness while hanging. Now, around 12 hours since my last hanging session I have to touch my glans pretty hard to feel anything.

    You sure you're not just obsessing over it? You seem to have the potential to obsess over things just from talking to you and answering your questions (repeat questions). Nothing personal. Just a thought.

    Is your glans still taking pressure when hanging? Is it soft when you hang, or firm? Are your sets no more than 15 minutes?

    indeed, anxiety = turtling = less circulation = less blood in glans = numbness/ lack of sensitivity

    You're absolutely right, I do sometimes obsess over things unfortunately. I want to be 100% certain about everything especially when in limbo about something this important, like "could it be numbness from hanging or have I always been this numb since I'm cut but never thought about it?". No certain answer = anxiety.

    It's pretty firm, I'm not feeling any discomfort in or above the glans though. The Bib isn't resting directly on the shoulders of the glans but more so on gathered up penis skin between the glans and the Bib, like you said. Never more than 15min.

    hey, im a hanger, and im cut... my glans in general are pretty "numb" they do seem to lack some sensitivity. heres what i find when im hanging. and ive been hanging for quite some time now and hav noticed this from the start.

    my glans do go colder and have some slight discolouration when hanging... this isnt down to wrong application or technique, this is down to having some blood trapped in the glans for a period of up to 20 mins whilst the hanger is in place, having your penis in a hanger for 20+ mins "is" going to have some small effect on heat, sensitivity etc.

    what people tend to do is mistake natural bodily reaction for unusual behaviour.

    your glans "will" be affected in every session, but should not be unusually cold, numb, painfull or discoloured.

    how are you hanging also?? i have noticed that when hanging BTC, be it just with sitting normally or with your legs up. that the feeling goes from the hips area as an overall reaction. my hips, ass etc... tend to go numb from sitting in such an unusual position and having weights atttached to my dick. this often feels that my entire penis has gone numb also, but when i touch it the feeling is still there.

    the way i guage if my glans are numb is when the hanger is attached, rub the end of the glans with my finger and see it there is a tingling sensation... when you squeeze your glans, especially when being cut, you tend to find that the glans do seem to be missing some feeling... however, when you lightly rub, it gives a totaly different responce which stimulates the nreve endings and gives a truer account of if your glans are numb or not..

    personally i think you may be worrying over nothing. if there is no other signs that there is something wrong then id say there is no need to stop. id also suggest investing in some tiger balm, which you can rub on the glans during your set to encourage continued blood flow to the area. use helicopter shakers between sets with your device still attached and once your sessoin is complete, use helicopter shakers and massage to warm down and get the blood flowing properly... once your session is done and your arm down is completed, try to gain an erection just by rubbing the tip of your glans (this can even be done now). if you get an erectoin then you dont have a numbness problem or injury. there is a good chance your erection wont be as good as normal, but dont worry as this is another natural reaction to the hanging process. you "will" lose some EQ, but you do get it back on your rest periods and by using kegles. i have come up with an advanced kegle that worked great for my EQ which was dont during the hanging session. my erection went from around 8-9 oclock, to about 10 oclock.

    this advanced kegle is done whilst hanging SD, standing with your legs shoulder width apart and weights dangling still between your legs, do a few kegles this will make the weight swing... if not, just keep at it till it does... once its swinging, try to catch the weight on the back swing with a kegle to push it forward again. use common sense and dont let the weight get too carried away, stop it regularly and start again.

    again, i dont think you have anything to wory about... if you can get an erection by rubbing the glans only, then your not numb... if your glans tingle when you rub it during a set, your not numb.

    What exactly is everyone qualifying as a "sweatshirt"?? I thought it was like the wife beater material that u use under a tshirt. Apparently that doesnt work so well for me cause the hanger didn't grasp the internals correctly.. So what is the proper SS material? HELP!
