Thanks Big O. [Rather than clutter my progress thread, and because something of value to others might come out of this discussion, I've started this thread. And if my post below sounds defensive, please try to excuse / ignore that ... I appreciate your help but I want to be sure I respond as directly and as honestly as I can so that I don't waste your time and misinform others].
For various reasons I remain a stealth PEer, and that won't change ... too many reasons to discuss in this post. Wife, kids, life, demanding job, above average starting stats, no gains, etc etc.
I was doing 5 sets a day at over 15 lbs, I wouldn't have thought that was light? And you said "a brief time" but that was 23 July to 13 November 2011, close to 4 months @ mostly 7 days a week with not a fraction of an inch to indicate that change would follow.
Back in 2011 I was doing those sets as time permitted, for example, rs 3 2 would mean rice sock warm up and then 3 sets that morning followed by another 2 sets later that day / evening.
Back then and more recently, I have never felt fatigue, even at 44 lbs. The occasional pain / burn in a non-ideal set, yes. But for the most part, once I get the weight set up comfortably I'm fine. Even when I was over 40 lbs and doing 2 x 20 minute sets, it was quite comfortable most days and with no negative PIs. Edema was an occasional problem but that would quickly fade with no erectile or other effect at all. Heck, I could unhitch 40 lbs and then walk upstairs and have sex if the opportunity arose.
Also, no matter how much I tighten and pulse push, I always get slippage, which makes me wonder if that has been a key issue?
To be very honest, I'm feeling reluctant to go to 3 sets. With preparation and breaks, that would require an hour and a half of stealth PE.
Also, I no longer have the extender, a hinge broke and at over 500 hours strict usage with no indication that growth was imminent, I didn't replace it. I did experiment recently with an ADS / biker lock style stretch post hanging, but stopped that because I just don't want to go back to having my head-space focused on PE for long periods of the day. It ain't healthy.
Okay ... come at me BigO!!!!

I'm sure nobody is going to come at you. You seem to be having a rough time gaining and I'm sure it's frustrating.
As far as weight, in the hanging world 15 lbs is light. From most people's reports,
15 lbs is the weight where most people start seeing gains. Some might see gains lighter than this and others might see gains heavier. You just may be a person who needs more than 15 lbs to see gains from hanging. I also think it's important to get as much time as possible each day. Imo 3 sets is a bare minimum.
I'm sure it sucks to hear, especially when there are those that can gain much easier than this.
Why not experiment a little? Have you looked into fulcrum hanging at all? Have you tried different positions and angles? Just a slight change might be all it takes to get you gaining

I am not coming at you, I may have read some of your thread wrong, I seen a group of posts that showed you were doing 5 sets but it ddnt seem like it was that long. I probably missed something. I will re read it. I was just hoping I might find something that wuld help.

Donjelqer, BigO ... you've clearly read my mood incorrectly. I need more emoticons and less dry Aussie humour! After I wrote that post I knew it might come across as defensive hence the caveat right up front, and the 'come at me' was an attempt at lightening my potentially depressing post!!
I have no doubt that you two especially are best placed to give me real and considered hanging advice.
So 1,000 apologies.
I'm a little frustrated ... and I've tried a bunch of things ... but jeez, it's only a penis!!And I've never known you guys (and most others here) to be anything other than genuine in your support.
So ...
Come at me guys ... what have you got!

Thanks donjelqer.
As I've said, I think a key issue for me is proper attachment. If I can get that right, the next question is whether I'm prepared or able to commit to at least 3 sets a day. And at this stage I'm questioning whether I'm hungry enough to do that any more. But going beyond 15lbs with proper attachment doesn't faze me at all.
I'm on a jelqing-only decon-break until early 2013 so that might be enough time for me to fire back up and give this hanging stuff another, decent go.
As for slight changes, over the last 3 or so years I've tried lots of things ... JPs 90; jelq only routines; extender; ADS; PE weights; hanging at least 5 sets; hanging fewer but heavier sets; trying different angles; etc. And I've generally given each at least 3 to 4 months to see if there are any remote signs of growth before changing it up.

Not hard to do ... I'm sure you noticed that I eventually went to doing most of my updates in type of shorthand and on a monthly basis. So it does take a bit of deciphering.
I update a PE file on my phone and then do a monthly post so that it's easier (for me) to go back thru' and reflect upon.
So any questions on my notes, ask away.

With regards to slippage, when you ordered bib hardcore ( the renamed version anyways
) did you find the slippage stopped, or to soon to tell ?
I think you should be able to stop slippage with the hardcore, I had slippage with the starter, people have reported no gains till they have reached 18 lbs hanging correctly, personally I have found there is a big difference between hanging with slippage at 20 lbs not grasping the internals and hanging correctly at around 10 lbs.
Just my thoughts.
Cheers Lee.Starting stats: 01/04/12 ---- 5 5/8" NBP --- 6 3/8" BP --- 5 6/8" Girth
Current Stats: 01/01/13 ---- 6 3/8" NBP --- 7 3/8" BP --- 6" Girth
Goal for 2013: Lose 4/8 inch off fat pad + Get over 7" NBP
