I started hanging about 2.5 weeks ago with a homemade captains wench and started hanging with 5 pounds, I used this weight for 10 days and have been hanging everyday since. I began doing 4x 20 minute sets and toward the end of the 10 days I was doing 6x20 minute sets. I always used a heating pad for warm up/cool down but I limited rest in between sets to 5 minutes, I think 10 minutes is too long and 5 minutes does me well. After the 10 days I bumped the weight up to 6 pounds and have been doing at least 4x20 minute sets per day and on days that I have had more time available I have been doing 6x20 minute sets.
I have been doing BTC on the edge of my bed with my thighs on a stool right next to it. My body is parallel to the floor and the weight is hanging at 90 degrees to my body. I do not feel much of a dull burn at the beginning of the set, the burn comes in about half way into the set and it doesn't get too bad, it is an ok feeling, no pain and it comes from the base of the penis on the underside of it. However, once a set is up and I move my thighs off from the stool and put my feet on the ground I feel a pulling sensation inside my pelvis, it feels like it is also in my testicles. Then once I take off the wench and stand up I feel it again, it does not last long only for a fraction of a second. It is hard to describe, it does not feel painful, but the pulling feeling makes it seem like it is, even though it's not. If I am standing and I manually pull my penis straight down I get the same feeling in the same places.
Does this sound like sore ligaments? When I hang BTC I have my penis splitting both testicles and I always make sure that the penis is aligned straight. I also have a 4 foot rope attached to the weights as a fail safe, just in case, so i can pull the weights up. Once the 20 minutes time is up and i pull the rope to relive the weight i feel it. Once i sit up straight from laying down i feel it again and i can also feel that my abs are connected to the ligament in my penis.

No, does not sound like ligaments to me, ligaments should be felt above the penis. I can't imagine you are doing any harm though just keep an eye on it.

Yep, after only 10 days you upped your weight by adding 50% and added up to 2 sets per session. Go up one lb pr week or one set at the original 4 lbs. Your progression was too fast. You will injure yourself if you dont progress slower at first. Stess can be accumulative with hanging. Read hanging 101 and follow it to a T.

No, you are calculating wrong. 2 lbs is 50% of 4 lbs, so if you went from 4 to 6 you did 150% of your weight. You should go up 10% or 1 lb at a time. Read hanging 101.

I think you misread my post. I have never even hung 4 pounds, i started at 5 and went to 6 pounds. i did read hanging 101. i dont always do six sets, mostly 4 but sometimes i add an extra two sets if i have the time.

Is there anyone else that can help me with this? I can also feel the pull in the same spot when i tighten my abs and lean back.

I've felt this and it really sucks! In my situation it was because is skin stretch. Mine was on the right side (right testicle) and I've found later that my scrotal sack was being stretched so far down my shaft that it was putting too much pressure on my testicle. What I am doing now is stretching my scrotum sacks down, but only to where they are suppose to be. My hangs sets feel better and I have started two days ago with the stretching. Best of luck.
