I am moving up to 6 sets this week of 12.5lbs and i feel pretty sore after the week of 5 sets. I usually jelq for about 5 minutes after my 5-6 sets to restore circulation after I warm down. To my understanding girth work will hinder gains in the length department. I know jelquing is kind of a combination of the two but will jelquing hinder length gains from hanging at all? Can a long jelq session after hanging actually improve gains?
