Captains Wrench

Hello. I've been using the captain's wrench now for 5 weeks. I find it not only affordable but very easy to make. My question is, what is the most weight anyone has hung using this device, without it slipping on them, and any gains using the wrench.

I gained about 3/4" with the wench, at 7.5 lbs I bought the BIB and have gained another 5/8" and up to 12.5lbs.
