high tension + short time = ligament stretch
low tension + long time = tunica / shaft stretch

The only reason the price is so high is because what the product claims it can do.

All of my quotes from Dr. K are from personal conversations I have had with him. He has told me his assertions about weight are based on feedback from over 1000 patients he has followed, and the weight at which they personally started to get significant results. I happen to be in that group too. Again I am not saying that low traction extending devices are worthless. I do think that they are great as ADS's. I personally have not spoke with any one individual who has gotten gains from using a low traction extending device alone. They have always used it in combination with other PE exercises like Hand stretching, jelqing, and or pumping. So for me I would be interested in seeing positive gain results from guys who used a low traction extending device alone with absolutely no other PE exercises involved. Thanks for the positive feedback on the LG Hanger,

Your going to get lig stretch before tunica stretch regardless of what you use. Low tension = tunica and/or lig stretch in more time. Hanging can target the tunica as much or more than any low tension device can. It is in the angle and the time invested that will determine how you stretch and what you stretch.

I've made gains with my x4 labs extender and the phallosan forte without doing any manual PE or other devices. There's also others who made gains with strictly just an extender device besides myself. Here check out the Phallosan User Gains Table which shows some users who strictly used the PF and gained from it alone while others made gains with PF + other form of PE.

My 1st experience with PE was using just a FastSize noose extender, and for only about 1 hour per week (not day, 1 hour per week) at max tension for 3 years. After about 2 years, I tried a jelq device, but only used it a few times, so the extender was basically the only thing for 3 years, and I gained more than 1" in length. I didn't measure my girth when I started, but it increased at a rate that never made me look thinner or thicker compared to when I started, even though my length was 1"+ longer.
Part of this was probably because I was still growing naturally and only 19 when I started, but I think that another reason is because I didn't do any other forms of PE before or during this time, which would've been more intense and made me more conditioned. If you have done manual stretches or hanging in the past, then expect to gain with just an extender, it's probably not going to happen because your body has been subjected to much greater stress levels and adapted.
Plateaus are usually because your body is used to your routine and no longer feels it needs to adapt. Adding time and/or intensity can trigger an adaptation response and start up gains again.
Some guys argue with weightlifting analogies being used with PE, but the adaptation that the body goes through is similar. A kid that has never lifted weights before can make his arms bigger by curling 5 lb weights. After a while, the body will adapt and no longer get bigger because it can handle the workout routine that you do. Adding more weight will then get the body's adaptation process going again.Last edited by Baba_Booey; 01-21-2014 at 06:04 PM.

It's really expensive for what it is. I'd be much happier if I could have paid half of what I did (about £250 inc. shipping).
BUT i've used a few devices in the past which each cost between £100-150. They've all been very uncomfortable to use, to the point where I stopped using them. That was money wasted. So, in some sense, it's almost like you get what you pay for.Last edited by JizzInMyPants; 01-21-2014 at 08:36 PM.

This is not necessarily true as you can still gain from an extender even after being exposed to much greater tension/stress you just need to decondition for a long time, and it's one of the ways to overcoming plateaus or rather an alternative way than increasing the intensity.
If a bodybuilder hasn't done weightlifting for a long time that person will most likely not be able to lift the same weight he used to lift and his muscles would not be as defined as they were before though there will still be permanent cemented gains regardless.
