    Okay guys, so just an update about the thread, I have not put a string of different links to FAQs etc about clamping on the first page of this thread. There are enough links there so far to give you anyone a basic outline of clamping, so hopefully this helps you, or anyone looking for information on clamping. Thanks to Ben for providing some useful links for us

    I never understood this, when I clamp and let the erection subside, it feels awful and my expansion is very minimal (about the max erect size in a jelly state).

    I must have the wrong size clamp. If I am not 100% erect the clamp does no restricting to speak of. In our local hardware store they only had 1 size clamp that would fit my girth. I have to tighten it all the way to get good restriction. Do you think staying with cable clamps is still the way to go, or should I find a different option that allows for varying degrees of restriction?

    Yes, that is true. The most optimal approach and erection levels for me are as follows: 95-100% erection putting the clamp on. Edging throughout to maintain this level. Perform an uli or squeeze, then the erection subsides to around 70-80%. Edge to get back up to 90-95%, wait for a while, perform uli. Back down to 70-80%, and then edge to get it back up again. It is a constant back-and-forth process, just leaving it in this state will achieve nothing in my opinion, but the occasional drops down in erection level comes with the process. My expansion is unbelievable when I follow this pattern.

    Hey Wishful. Did you get a cable clamp? You must have gotten the large one, because I know your girth is a good bit bigger than mine, and my medium gives great restriction. In fact, my optimal level is one click from the last one on the clamp. You are not supposed to restrict bloodflow altogether, it is simply supposed to trap the majority of blood in the shaft. You should be pumping fresh blood up your shaft throughout. This will cause greater expansion in the shaft.

    In my opinion cable clamps are the simple best thing one could buy if aiming for girth. They are simply unparalleled to other forms of girth exercises or devices. I have no experience with other types of clamps, but the cable clamps seem the safest. Sounds like you need to test it out a little further. Read my above description of my process to Popol, it might help. I also prefer long sets clamping, the ten minute mark is when I am only warming up.

    I do a similar routine, but I have to keep the erection level very high for the clamp to work. If I lose erection to 70% I lose the clamp. Maybe I will check Amazon or other online outlet for other sized clamps. The selection here locally was this size or about 1" girth size. I love the clamp but it is only effective for edging. If I try squeezes, Ulis and other erection losing excersizes I lose the benefit of the clamp. I have often wondered if I Dont have as much stuff in my penjs as some of you. I get rock hard, but I have a very small flaccid. I have wondered if the small flaccid was indicative of less tunics and other stuff, and if I fill with more blood to create the grower that I have. Thanks for all the input. And all the testing you guys do. I enjoy our journey.

    I do agree, I have far more expansion when I edge and clamp together, but I have seen numerous times on Biggyrtha thread that the EL is not important , and as you mentioned, he himself often let it subside. The other "school" of clamping stepped on the scene later (redzulu and his exercises while clamped, if I remember right he also recommended to stay erect throught the set) . Letting the erection subside just do nothing for me, at least it doesn't look like it does . Coldness is also felt much earlier.

    Long gaps between sessions is the way to go. I had to learn that from you. Intrigued by your thoughts on leaving the clamp on for more than 10 minutes. I've done it several times for 15 minutes without any issues. Once my EQ is back to normal, I will work on this and we can trade ideas and share our experience with this.

    I read the same stuff about longer clamps before I began over at Thunders. I'm there as gettingbigger but typically post here. I check out my friend Houstonwoods (Hydeaway85 at PEGym) at Thunders. He has done long clamps like you describe. I know he's done at least 20 minutes with the clamp on. His girth gains are amazing!

    So we share a common addiction...we may have to join Clampers anonymous Haha...
    I love clamping. Can't wait to get back on my regular routine!

    There is something I apparently did not understand. I thought you were doing about the same routine as Hydeaway? So clamp but lightly enough to edge throughout the 30-40 mn sessions?
