I agree with this.
I believe you'll more effectively fatigue the tissues if you do your sets 1 hours at a time (even if broken into 15-20 minute subsets, as would be required with a compression hanger). Unless you're really up in the weight, it's very difficult to reach fatigue in 20 minutes, let alone ride it out.

I better not have wasted 60 hours hanging because I've been spreading out the sets.. I'll be fucking pissed. Maybe I should start hanging 3 hours a day. 3 1hour sets? Morning, lunch and before bedtime.

In my opinion? No, unless the weight is heavy enough that you'll feel fatigue within the 30 minute set. If it's not heavy and you are spreading it throughout the day then it's most likely counter-productive, but hey this is just my opinion some may still gain from it some may not but do I believe this is a good way? Nope, unless it's heavy enough which for most compression hanger is anywhere from 12 to 18lbs or more.

Yeah, I think you're right dreamon. I'm hanging right now and my penis starts to feel fatigued right around the 45-50 min mark. I'm going to do 3 hours a day from now on.

Id say so. The whole theory behind hanging is basically summed up in "riding the fatigue". The more time you can put in after you fatigue, the better.
Obviously not everyone can do 2 hours straight every night or have to work around a schedule, but you should have a timeframe where you can ride the fatigue as long as possible. Getting fatigued in 20-30 mins or even 40 mins would be difficult and I agree with the post above that my fatigue usually sets in at about the hour mark.
That being said, a 20-30 min set in the morning and then a solid 1.5 hours in the evening could be a more manageable routine. And I wouldn't worry about wasted gains from intermittent hanging so far, as long as you reached fatigue at some point you're good. If you didn't, well... i guess it's a learning experience.

I think I did reach some sort of fatigue, tbh. In the last few days I've upped the weight a bit and really felt an increase in the pulling of the penis, which of course is expected, but also felt slightly sore after a 20 minute session. Nothing at all that painful, but definitely felt as though something had happened.
Shall do 3 20 minute sessions altogether from now on then. Thanks.
P.S. Do you have any recommendation for when to up the weight? As in, like every few weeks up it slightly, or should it be sooner than that?

As long as you're feeling the soreness in the base of your penis, sometimes my shaft gets a little sore too so just use your judgment.
I'd love to give you a set or time frame of when/how to up weight, but when it comes to hanging, everyone is different and that's one of the beauties of PE, you learn to adjust based on how YOU respond. No one can sit here and tell you "oh in 3 weeks you should be at this weight".
But what I can tell you is to read up the PI's here on the forum, that's a very underestimated aspect. Your body's own natural indicators are the only way you can really judge how your routine is working for you. But as a general guide, you should be able to wear the weight with little discomfort for a minimum of 20 minutes. If you're doing 3 20 minute sets, i'd aim for hitting fatigue halfway through your 2nd set. Adjust weight accordingly. Days will be different, sometimes you can hang more and sometimes you can hang less. Just remember, as long as you are hitting fatigue don't get caught up in the weight. You'll eventually get to higher weights, just listen to your body.
And remember, PAIN = BAD. Also, don't be against stopping your set halfway through and dropping weight if you need to in order to finish your set. Fatigue and time are your friends.
