Thread: Hanging throughout the day?

I'm curious as to which is better/if there is any difference at all to hanging in all one go or throughout the day.
What I mean is, I've only recently began hanging and am now starting to hang three times a day. Is it better to hang all in one go so something like... hang for 20 minutes and then rest for 5 minutes repeat twice more or hang for 20 minutes, let's say in the morning, then mid afternoon and then final session at night?

I read that it's best to spread it out so that's what I'm doing. I've got 45 hours hanging so far at a low weight. I do 4 sets everyday for 30 mins each. Morning, lunch, evening, and right before bed.
Started at: 6.9 Bpfsl
Currently at: 7.25 Bpfsl / 6.875 Bpel / 4.6 MG
Goal: 7.5 Bpel / 7.0 Nbpel / 5.5 MG

I thought going past 20 mins is a no-go? Or are you not using a compression hanger?

I am mixing it up. Every other day I spread it. Every other day I do them back to back. 3-4 sets each day @ 20 mins. I haven't really made up my mind lol

When I start hanging I am definitely going to try this time over weight idea and also to try to spread out my hours throughout the day as much as possible. Looking forward to it, but am also interested to see others experience on it.

Hi there fellow P-erz still wondering if I could get some help with a beginner hanging routine, just got Mr preaching y'all, down wit the man up stairs but really would like to get some help. Been exercising for 6 months and in good conditioning state.

If you are only going to hang for 20 minutes per set then I don't recommend you spreading out your sessions throughout the day, but if you are going to hang for at least an hour or 3 sets of 20 each session then it's totally fine and you should go for it. But 20 minute per session is simply not enough to be productive in my opinion.
