The Ebay unit is one that is economical, if you want to see if you favor extending.
All the needed parts seem to be included. Replacement parts are not mentioned, and sooner or later you will need some.
The extender does not have a feature of letting you know how many grams of 'pull' or traction you are using.
600 - 900 grams is good, however, you won't know on this one, unless its a hidden feature.

I noticed that the spring housing rods do have enscribed lines which are used to determine tension on quality extenders. Perhaps the instructions will include tension rates at the lines or you can ask at bottom of e-bay page or e-mail the manufacturer and inquire about the spring strength and devide by three to determine tension depending on how many lines are showing.

if the spring tension is 1500 gr., than each line covered represents 500 gr.

It is possible that some extenders would go beyond 1500 g for tension. The SizeGenetics model goes up to 2300 g.
