    Hi there fellows,

    My question pertains about the edging.

    I do not use porn or any stimulating visuals during my edging session, just physical touch. I repeatedly found that if I misjudged my PONR and do not kegel hard enough, I will ejaculate a bit (10-15% of my normal ejaculation quantity) and subsequentially, I lose my erection almost immediately despite my continuous physical stimuli. I do not feel the sensation of the orgasm nor experience retrograde ejaculation though.

    The erection comes back relatively quickly, within 10 mins or so.

    Is it normal to lose erection even after a tiny bit of ejaculation during edging, guys?

    Oh, this problem happens all the time if I use my Stamina Trainer fleshlight. For the manual edging without the fleshlight, the EQ is fairly good. I'm afraid that I might have conditioned myself to lose erection if I see a vagina. This thought scares me. Many of you know I was a porn addict, I trained my brain to consider porn as negative now. I wonder if the fleshlight may relate to my inverse to porn and its graphic, hence the problem to maintain an erection if I see a fake vagina.

    Your input is highly appreciated. Help a brother out!

    The timing of pulling back is crucial. You might be pulling back a bit too late- not enough for an intense orgasms but just enough to initiate ejaculation.

    Consider your fears- what causes you to think you'd lose an erection at the sight of a vagina? You do understand that, like most specific performance anxiety issues, it's irrational. Porn is fantasy- you're stimulating yourself to images on a computer and there's no emotional interplay. There shouldn't be a correlation between this and a real life sexual encounter (which is a full immersive experience) unless you create on in your mind.

        Glad to help

        The kegels and Stop and Starts should be done with paying maximum attention to your "visualizations". This is NOT a reference to sexual fantasizing, but to projecting the type of emotions you wish to have during actual sexual encounters.

        You'll want to project a feeling of utmost confidence and being completely unencumbered. That way, you can focus on all of the sensations of the exercise. By doing this, when you do have live sexual encounters your emotions will be "trained", and the stimulus of a live environment will help you enjoy the experience even more.

          Wow,

          Thank you, Big Al. I definitely need to incorporate this into my training. Most of the time, I was just focusing on beating my previous time records. LOL Have to stop treating edging like training for competition and more like training my mind to become confident in bed and enjoy the moment.

            There's such a huge correlation between mindset and performance. Learning to first become as objective as possible about your performance (and understand that without the interference of the mind instinct takes over. Once you achieve that objectivity, this is where the emotional visualizations come in to help recondition you.

              So are you saying you SHOULDN'T fantasize? Just have a clear mind...while focusing on confidence? What if I combined them and saaay, pictured me being a sexual god to the gal from the gym.

              Also, I haven't been paying attention to "sensations" so much, but certainly by default have become more in tune with how close I get to the PONR and how to control arousal.

                If you want true mastery, then no fantasizing either. Consider the common complaint among men who, during intercourse, begin to lose their erections. The usual course of action in these cases is for the man in question to begin fantasizing about their favorite porn clip or some past scenario- instead of focusing on their partner.

                That being said, it's difficult to go from using porn to strict emotional visualizations. Some men have decent success in weaning themselves off in stages- though this usually allows for excuses to fall back to porn use.

                  Fair enough, but do you not put yourself in the mindset of having sex...instead of focusing on the sensations your own hand is giving you?

                    Correct- clear your mind, focus on the sensation, and attempt to induce the emotional backdrop you'd expect to experience during a positive sexual encounter- feelings of confidence and unencumbrance.

                    What helps greatly with the above is if you limit your ejaculations to training and sexual activity only.

                      Ok thank you. I've been good about saving ejacs for only her - so I can still picture having sex during edging, but focus on the sensations and MY state vs the fantasy of my partner and her actions. Capiche - I'll make the adjustements!
