  • PE=not a weekend project

sometimes I wonder about the percentage of members that stumble onto this site thinking they are going to be able to add 3 inches to their dick over a weekend... overtrain, get injured, or even lose hundreds of dollars on equipment that basically ends up getting thrown away after a few days.

you have to stay motivated. for me, PE provides an outlet to feel both relaxed and recharged.

it is all about the mindset. once it becomes a part of your routine and who you are then it is no longer a novelty.

after my first PE session, I was hooked. sure, it has been off-and-on since the summer of 2001 but it has never lost its appeal and always makes its way back into my life. this time around, I am thoroughly set on hitting a solid 9" bpel (I have got there once with temporary gains).

this post is to inspire the n00bz and let them know that it is not a novelty... so senior members and top-gainers, when did you realize you were hooked and ditched the mindset of PE being a weekend project?

I agree completely, sssssteve. Yeah, I'm fairly new here but have been hooked just the same as you. Have things mapped out till around August/Sept and even then, will still class myself as a total noob here.

My limited advice would be read the progress logs - I mean the ones that run to loads of pages, you'll get an idea of that day to day, week in week out type of mentality it takes to dedicate yourself to this. If there was a super quick/shortcut way to do it, we'd all be doing it. Time and patience.

Sorry my reply was outside of the 'senior members and top gainers' replies but I wanted to add my thoughts mate.

I never had the mindset that I would make great gains in a short period of time. I was very skeptical on the idea that the penis could be enlarged. I actually started these exercises to help with my ED problem. I made some quick noob gains and that's when I became hooked on penis enlargement.
To totally satisfy a woman sexually is not about having a large penis, it's about being a good lover.

I knew before I started, just from the reading I'd done. I decided to commit to 3 months of JP90, 5 days a week, and stuck to it. If I hadn't seen any gains from that, I might not have continued on. But I did (despite still being skeptical), and now it's just my secret hobby.

I think having realistic expectations helps a lot, and you need to get to the point where you trust in the process enough to not worry about daily or weekly progress.

The male enhancement mindset is very important! Attempt to get around this and there will be a lack of gains and even negative developments.

I love my penis and my penis loves me (I think). So I would never do anything to hurt it. Truth be told, when I first decided to check out this "hobby", I was very worried about injuring myself, or worse, breaking my penis. With that in mind, I did a fair amount of reading before really diving in. I think I spent a good week or so going through pages of information. Also having been a bit of weekend runner for several years, I am highly aware of the need to pace oneself to avoid injury.

My reason for starting PE had more to do with improving EQ than anything else. Over the past few years, the firm erections have not been there. Hard enough to have sex, but nothing like when I was younger. I am not one to get overly bothered about these things but when my wife expressed some frustration then I knew I needed to do something. First got some viagra like everyone else, and it had some effect but I did not want to have a chemical romance so I started to look at more natural alternatives.

I always considered myself on the smaller side of things but never really had complaints from GFs in the past. When I started doing the reading here, I came to realize that I was more in the average range as opposed to the smaller range so that was a pleasant surprise. When I achieved some moderate gains, I was hooked. Never really thought it work out that way but it did. Still looking for EQ gains. This is my current focus.
I came here for the EQ, but I stayed for PE

I think it goes back to when I first discovered my penis, maybe at age 5 ?

I'm not a top-gainer or a senior member, but I think the best approach is what I gleamed about working out from Henry Rollins' article The Iron. Basically don't measure your penis or pay much attention to it's size, if you don't see it growing right away you'll get discouraged and stop doing PE, similar to how guys may stop working out if they aren't seeing results fast enough. When I started out I'd measure daily, partially because my EQ was bad and getting a good girth measurement was difficult. As I went on I stopped doing that and started focusing on effectively getting the feel of expansion and what felt good and with that my measurements started going weekly to monthly. Obviously you want to measure to make sure you're still growing, but don't obsesses over it to the point you're beating yourself up over no visible change daily or weekly or abandoning what works to try something too intense.
